The dulcet tones of Barry White came from the radio as the broadcast began. Drake was totally humming along.
"My darling, I can't get enough of your love, babe.... Oh, settle down, Cas, you can stop hiding behind the altar, I'm fine. Everybody all recovered from inappropriate crushes? Ahh, love, you so wacky. But if you find it, hold on to it with all you've got, but please draw the line at watching your loved ones through their windows while they sleep, because that's just kinda creepy, okay?
"Anyway, on with the news of the day. Jak got a phone call from home, and then played charades with Jono. Oooh, I'm awesome at charades. You should see how I do 'altar boy.' ....sorry, Cas. Jon had fun with ice designs on his window and got a visit from Leda. Katchoo decided she was going to teach the once and future Arthur how to ride a motorcycle, which made Francine and Merlin a little nervous. C'mon, every king needs a trusty steed, he'll be fine.
"Mirax enjoyed the fake snow today and talked to Chuck-not-Bass about the holidays. Jennifer dropped by Ellie's room to show off her fabulous green self. Bobby chilled out in the common room tonight, where he was bounced at by Zack and complained about the weather at by Hurley.
"Down in town, Ender and Ben had coffee at the Perk and discussed Ben's mad seduction skillz. If anyone's got an opinion on those, the lines are open, give the station a call. Sam ran into Jess who looks like Peter and...yeah, I can see how that would be awkward. Over at Wellspring Arms, Jean rearranged the furniture and taught Jono how to meditate. She also asked Cable for advice about telepath-on-telepath violence and gave Bobby a hand with controlling his abilities.
"Elsewhere, Beka and Jonas went out for an ice cream date -- awwwww -- and Tully met John Price in the park. Those stuck at work today included Hurley at Groovy Tunes, Sophie at the art gallery, Hoshi at the hotel, and Ino at the clinic. Over at Caritas, Adrian chatted up Damon, Joan and Raven talked about those love spell hijinks, Damon teased Raven about her virgin...drinks, and newcomer Kris came in for a beer.
"And that's it for today, gang. Y'know, it's funny, but I don't feel much different from when I did this last week. Okay, maybe I'm not feeling like I should be smaller, blonde, and snarky. But other than that...."
