Fandom Radio: Wednesday November 11
Right on, so the squirrels decided I was going to come talk to you all tonight so hey Fandom, this is Rose Hathaway. I have a whole handful of notes to read and then the squirrels promised me rum.
...do you think they know who'll give in to those bribes before they kidnap? Huh.
School Stuff
Some of you suckers had class today, and I didn't. Consider yourselves mocked. Punching People for Fun and Profit - okay, if I had that class today, I'd've been good with it. Except they didn't so much punch people as watch the guys in Band of Brothers punch people. I totally didn't cry at that one. Elena who kicks ass thanked Professor, um, Fred for being in the military.
Adventures in Literature talked about Frankenstein's villain. Wow. Boring. Annnd Penelope's first act on coming back to class is to ask for make up work. Oh, Penelope, dude, never ask for make up work. That just makes you a geek. The other geeks were over in Art 101 where they looked at broken art and then tried to make their own.
...See, I thought that was called kindergarten but maybe that was just me.
And it's like the teachers thought the name of DADA for Muggles wasn't enough to prove they're totally insane so they had their class fight fruit. So the fruit didn't feel left out what with the veggie fighting yesterday. Um, I don't think fruit has feelings, guys. Yeah, and Arthur stopped by to say Merlin wasn't going to be in class cause he's a merlin. Which - I'd think he'd be that all the time? Whatever.
Dorms
There were girls in short skirts in the gym today so if you weren't there an you like that kind of thing, you missed out. Try again next Wednesday. Also there was cheerstretching, cheercoaches, and cheercaptains. But no cheerocracies. Got it.
Azula got back to her room and went straight to bed. Fun Fail. But the Magic Reserve people met, and I guess Tony led a discussion about the 'battle' against vegetables. Um, seriously? I mean, vegetable soup is nasty, but we're calling that a battle now? Anyway, during the discussion, Raven told Dinah about how she, um, removed the anger and violence from a tomato. Nice, using compulsion on a freaking vegetable. Dinah offered to teach her the more old fashioned method of squishing.
...Okaaay this squirrel is trying to tell me that - the hell? - the polar bears will save us. Okay, little squirrel. Go drink more rum.
Karla got to ask Zack Fair about how to make materia during his explanation of the stuff, and she also got some books and DVDs from Tony Foster. Please tell me you lent her Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Annnd Arthur's there too with Merlin and a glove. Let's keep the kinky sex games in your own room, kids.
Down, down in Fandon Town
*sound of flipping through notes* Wow, you guys were boring down here today. Everyone doing what they're supposed to and working. The one Turtle and Valentine didn't call Cute Jack was even scrubbing the veggie guts off the outside of the hat shop when Irulan stopped by for a visit. Then he wandered over to visit Naomi at Stark Industries. Also visiting was Arthur with Merlin in hand. He, however, visited a totally different store. The art store where Katina informed him that meat could not be found. Right, obviously they don't breed intelligence into that royal line either... Annnd Professor Gibbs visited Alex Cabot at the law offices. I'm guessing not to confess a crime.
Ino, Dinah, Sophie, Aphrodite, and Alice were all working at their respective jobs, and honestly if y'all wanted to know what each of them were doing, maybe you should've gone to, I don't know, visit instead of being lazy and just hearing about it on the radio.
Ow! Dammit, squirrels, that doesn't mean you're out of a job. You can still talk about people getting it on and stuff.
Like this, see, Sam Winchester was upset about what he found on the internet so his brother Dean showed up to check on him. Awwww, Dean's nice and totally hot. Detective Reese is back in town and apparently in a bitchy mood so watch out. Irulan is back too like we already knew. Nothing was said about her mood.
And I have just this one more note. Didi and Jono were on a daaaaaaaaaaate at the movies. Apparently they discussed the possibility of popcorn attacking. I'm hoping they also made out or there's not so much of a point of the date thing. You could've done THAT in the Common Room, guys. Martha's shredding junk mail at the Clinic, and Marshall opened Caritas. And no one came by to drink with him? I'm disappointed in all of you.
That's in for tonight. I'm taking my rum and getting out of here before the squirrels attack. Night!
