Fandom Radio - Saturday 7/1
Jean: Leave me alone! Shoo! Stupid squirrels!
*Struggling sounds and chittering*
Tybalt: T'is but the worst timing on your part, rodents, seeking out the like of -- Lady Jean. T'is a lovely evening to find ourselves in one another's company, I daresay. Art thou here with thanks to our fine furred friends, as well?
Jean: Tybalt? I--they wouldn't leave me alone.
Tybalt: It would seem they've some purpose to their actions, though what it is they seek is sadly lost to-- *Chittering* *Paper rustling* ... Ah. Notes.
Jean: But why us?
Tybalt: I surmise that it is because squirrels are vile, loathsome, vicious beasts with an ill sense of humour.
School
Tybalt: There was research to be done, which saw many intrepid individuals gathering in the library today, to pore over whatever musty tomes our school's collection has to offer. McMooby's was kind enough to provice sustainance to those who were hard at work, which Lady Mina found to be in rather ill taste. Lady Gabrielle was not blessed with the opportunity to enjoy her meal, as Lady Triela demanded to be educated in the way of anything of any use before she could flit off to sleep, perchance in wait of a visit from Queen Mab. I do not profess to know what it is that our fine companions have been dreaming this week past. The notes do state, mind, that the researchers were granted access to all matter of reading material, though some, such as George Cooper and Diana, were finding very little luck regardless. There were ladies present, such as Lady Francine, who hopefully found some luck evading sleep with all of the coffee she hath drank. She informed Lady Gabrielle that she ought to consider resting, an interesting suggestion considering the recent situation, and also listened to Kyle of the house of Reese as he presented her with his findings. Also apparently of note would be Eric's presentation of food to Lady Morgana, presumably in some courtship ritual, and Lady Morgana's prodding of this food later as Lady Mina contemplates a means of moving the island. One day, perchance, this might not sound as mad as it dost to mine ear.
Jean: It sounds crazy to me too, if that helps.
Tybalt: Aye, verily so.
Dorms
Jean: Um, over in the second floor common room, Jack Burton watched someone paint on television. Okay. Alex and Griff---oh! They, um, fell asleep on the floor. Together. I'm sure they were just really tired. On the sixth floor, George, Eric and Ronan all cooked. Eric had a visit from Jen who thanked him for privacy during her tea party and--That's just rude! I'm not reading that part of it.
Tybalt: *Snerk*
Town
Jean: So, everyone was over at Town Hall today about the sleeping thing. Anyone new was taken care of and the doctors were around to help people. Martha hadn’t left since yesterday, but Ronan was really swwet to offer her food he made. Ino had some special medication and Kate brought people sandwiches because she's super nice. Ghanima talked to Ino about--that's private. I'm not saying more.
Lacey brought some coffee and Ronon was there to help as well. I don't think with sandwiches, but still helpful along with Simon!
There were a lot of cots for people to sleep on. Tyler was told some information by Francine that will hopefully help things out. People were waiting away from the people who were sick. Kate and Bobby--Be careful, Bobby!-- were both glad to see each other weren't asleep. Ghanima made Tahiri eat something before she got sick too. Mr Dayspring was there to check on people. George also brought food for sleeping people. Right. Mr Dukes was over at Chilly Boulders, getting some ice cream. And at Chuck's bar, Marion wasn't happy with what was going on in town.
Tybalt: For any who might still be awake to hear this broadcast, the notes inform me that I must reiterate that people continued to slumber within the sanctuary of Town Hall on into the evening. There were many medical-minded persons, healers and doctors alike, standing by to... watch people sleep, I suppose. Well done, Lady Ino, Ronan, Lady Martha, and Adam. I trust you tended to those in the cots well, and also to the persons in the waiting area. I imagine Lady Tahiri, George, and Bobby- the penguin?- were all quite thankful for your assistance this eve.
Jean: He's not a penguin anymore.
Tybalt: *Long, thoughtful pause* That does not mean that we'll be cancelling our swimming date, I hope?
Jean: Oh! Of course not...
Tybalt: Of course, seeing as today I reach my nineteenth year, perhaps I might solicit thee for other activities as well.
Jean: It's your birthday? You should have told me!
Tybalt: *This is the long-suffering sigh of a man who knows he might never get laid.*
