Fandom Radio :: Sunday, February 22nd.

ood evening, fellow Fandomites, both here in the ocean or back on the island! This is Turtle Wexler, broadcasting to you from the very sunny Carribean and loving our school and the words 'spring break.' I'm sure you all are, too, unless you're back at Fandom and didn't go, in which case...um....you're here in spirit? I'm sure we're all back on the island in spirit, too.

Anyway! Here's the news!

DORMS

Jamie and Temari were smexing early in the morning. Like some other people who will remain nameless, but were clearly better at keeping it from the squirrels.

Snarf tried to tell Lion-o that he couldn't go on the trip, so Lion-o locked Snarf in the closet and went anyway.

...Lion-o, you really rock right now, I'm just saying.

TOWN

Blysse stuck around, very dedicated to her work at the Gig. Also hard at work was G'Kar at Turtle & Canary, which continued to be your main source of travel supplies at excellent prices.

Mister Biff was all packed and ready at the Wellspring Arms and Meditation Center, where Detective Constable Day stopped in. They talked about how he's going on the trip, but she isn't. Sadface for her.

Mister Reilly had a special on used swimwear at Things Reborn, and Detective Constable Day stopped in to see him, too.

At Caritas, Mister Tino was in a tux, thanking people. Mrs. Harker came in, hoping for something exotic.

And, of course, everyone gathered at the Causeway to get ready for the Spring Break trip! Straight away, Worf encountered Toby with his distaste over being paired to room with him, and Miss Yzma had Toby carry her bags for her. Angela and Joan talk about how this is going to be the beeeesst spring break evaaaaa! Jen tracked down Mac to lay down some ground rules about rooming together right off the bat, although it looks a little like they might not be necessary as they both seem to be on the same wavelength. Gavin and John agree to have a truce for the duration of the cruise. Merlin's cheerfulness was very quickly put down by crankpants Arthur. Francine's cheerfulness was much more successful with Katina. However, Ned does not do a good job of convincing Jen that he isn't nervous about the cruise. Alex and Harper were totes squealy excited girls at each other, too, and Peyton thinks Jess could stand to be more of a squealy excited girl, all things consider. Mister Dex was all pouty at Miss Boxer about how he couldn't bring his weapons. But he could bring her, so he really shouldn't complain! Mister Eriksen wasn't complaining, he was bouncing, much to Miss Aldrin's amusement. Ben was a little surprised to see that Jaina was going on the cruise instead of going home, and Miss Garrett and the Captain talked about their plans for once they're on board.

Priestly teased Claudia a little about how much luggage she had, and they talked about their roomies, and Robin-the-Frog was all bouncy. Helen comments on how she wasn't sure if Warren would do this, but he says it's free, so why not, and they catch up a little, while Momoko was bouncy at him. Principle Winchester compliments Dean's ability to pack light and warns him not to knock his lady friend up. Mister Biff and Miss Atreides make plans for the rules of their room for 'friends' coming over. Dinah and Liir caught up a little, excited for the trip and glad to have gotten some talk about escaping stuff cleared up. Teddy tried to assure Chad that their cats would be okay over the week.

TRIP

All aboard The Crown Princess! Once on the boat, one of the first things people did was, of course, check out their rooms. Brooke and Edward immediately establish that the boat is awesome and some rules on guests in the room. Constable Fraser carried in all of Robin-not-a-Frog's stuff for her and then she rearranges the beds. There was probably a lot of that. Lee and Amber were totally girls at each other about how awesome the ship was, even if it wasn't in space. Adora and Rodney were also very impressed with the ship, as well as about swimming. Ben and Angela enjoy the view from their baaaalcony and talk about a planet full of squid. Arthur and Merlin didn't actually talk about the boat; the former was too busy being bitchy about how this wasn't Camelot. Clearly, someone needs this vacation! Blair and Chuck also immediately set up guest rules, which involve fire. Peyton and Dean talk about how no icebergs are allowed on this cruise. And then there was kissyface. Way to not waste any time, guys.

*ahem*

Supporting my prediction about the beds, John and Jaina immediate move theirs together, too. Which is all about having more floorspace, really. Tony threw pillows because Dinah was about to explode from bouncing with excitement, until the bouncy infects him, too. Priestly and Hoshi reveled in the niceness of their room and the cruise. Johnny and Savannah also made with the squee-ing and the immediate kissyface, because some people are just incorrigible.

*ahem*

Dojima and Romeo? Also getting right to fixing the furniture. Alice was a little surprised to be rooming with a Jess who isn't a girl, but they work it out. Chirs and Summer? Also in agreement about the awesomeness that is Spring Break at Fandom High. Jeff and me tested the beds...

...in ceremonial bed jumping!

AND THAT WAS IT!

REALLY.

Anyway, Mister Deadpool and Mayor Cable enjoyed their super special suit and talked about mutant super powers. I think there's also talk of a double date in there, too. Weeeird. Francine noted that Hannibal is indeed male, and I kind of hope that she didn't find that out in the really end-of-story kind of way. Ned and Kaylee also push their beds together and her hyperness sort of counteracts his nervousness, which is why they are awesome. He tells her about sharks! Mister Jameson was not please with his roommate being Miss Yzma. Momoko probably deafened roommate Leto when she found out there was a balcony. Joan and Helen get to know each other before settling into their room, and Aravis asks her roomie Hurley if he's ever been on a ship like this before, and what happens if they fall off. Annja offered to help roommate Marco of putting his crap away, and the Mister and Mrs. Skywalker complimented themselves on being so brilliant for doing this cruise. Liir and Meg also had to do the meet the new temporary roomie thing, and Robin-the-frog knows about jumping on the bed, much to the amusement of his roommate K-Mart, while the Captain offered to give Miss Garrett a massage...

...ew, old people massaging.

On our deck, the Lido deck, there were plenty of people hanging out at the pool. Hannibal went splashing at Angela; they talk about Hannibal's improved mood, vodka sleepovers, and their cruise roommates. Dinah 'accidentally' splashed Johnny, and there are introductions and Dinah recognizes him as the Johnny who can set himself on fire. Not a bad calling card, I guess. Dinah was also splashing Edward, who was absolutely loving the pool thing. Dinah also informed him about sunscreen after getting his shirt off. Adora and Edward talk about their cabins and the scrunchie rule. Dinah and Joan talk about an ice cream bar and gaining, like, tons of weight on this trip. Penelope also talks to Joan about rooming with Harvey...

...Lucky!

She also tells Hurley about it, and, really, I can't blame her for spreading it around. Adora and Rodney take refuge in the much calmer hot tub, talking about how Adora's not from around here and about dating stuff and sexile signs. Sookie compliments Brooke's swimsuit and they're all, 'Siiiigh, so awesome. Oh, cruise!' Robin-the-frog did cannonballs, although I think they'd be more appropriate be called bullets in this case, and splashed around a little. Kaylee was glad to see that Ned came out for some fun in the sun, and he compliments her swimsuit, which has a skirt, and she got to see the ship's engines. Dojima brought Jen in the hot tub a drink and she talked about how she never wanted to leave the hot tub. They are pretty nice. Dojima also bothered the Face-Spitter about why he wasn't swimming. Eowyn and Dinah talked about how goooorgeous it is, and Sookie and Claudia complimented each other's swimsuits, and the Captain did a little check-up on Amber.

The terrace was a bit quieter, though, than the pool.

There were plenty of things to attract on the ship as a whole, too.

There was the Star Deck, where you could play some sports and stuff.

The Sky Deck had a lounge and a nightclub and a theatre under the stars, which was pretty neat. Dinah was all bouncy at Arthur as they hung out in the club; she told him aaaaalll about how awesome the cruise is and will be. Jaina had dinner with John with the hair, who is seasick, and they chat and stuff, as you do at dinner. Savannah and K-Mart caught up with each other, including her three-minute dates. Chuck and Romeo drank and complained about their crappy weeks. GET OVER IT. YOU'RE ON A FREE CRUISE!

The Fiesta Deck had a club, too, as well as a casino, where Emmett couldn't help comment on Mister Deadpool's incredible ability to keep losing and losing and losing more money. And the Face-Spitter waved at Brooke and they talked about gambling and fake IDs, before Claire found the Face-Spitter and left me baffled as to how she could actually date him.

And there we have it! First day of the trip and I'm signing off to get some sleep so I can enjoy even more of it in the morning! Good night, and have a prosperous tomorrow!
