Fandom Radio :: Friday, November 28th.
Good evening, fellow Fandomites! Welcome to Friday Night Radio on WTFH, with your host, T.R. Wexler! I hope you all had a very good Thanksgiving, even if the majority of you aren't probably even American, in the strictest sense of the word, but who cares? Food! I'm proud to report that mine was a success, with only a small percentage of Jeff-related incidents, but I'm sure as heck glad to be back out here and not in Wisconsin anymore.
Anyway, let's get to the news!
SCHOOL
There was no chemistry class, or awful class, or awesome class today, because it's Thanksgiving break! Whoo-hoo, no smelly uniforms!
DORMS
Angela got comfy in the fourth floor common room with Chinese food. Really? With all that leftover turkey? Okay, so I guess I couldn't blame her if she'd burnt out on turkey by now, but, anyway, Chuck came in for some surprise Chinese food and conversation about the holiday and being able to say dirty things in different languages. Hurley, who smells perdy, also joined Angela for Chinese food on the floor and they talk holidays and California. Jack also appreciates the Chinese offerings.
Someone needs to tell Ben in the fourth floor common room that a pickle and cranberry sauce do not a good meal make. Helen will help....but for a price. Or a favor at the very least, in the form of watching her roommate's dog, which is quite the task if Helen's roommate's dog is anything like Nana. Aravis is glad to hear that Ben has ordered pizza, and Worf talks with Ben about all of our weird holidays here. Weird, sure, but tasty!
Amber got ready for her date with Liir, who brought flowers and everything, which pretty much proves he's probably better than a guy who spits on girls' faces, Amber, I'm just saying! They also eventually came back from said date, and we might be able to all take a guess where that lead. Jan is back to a normal unicorn, hurray! Dor is rather happy about that, as well.
TOWN
Hurley was in a good mood over at Covent Garden Flowers and Liir picked up the bouquet for Aaaaaaam-beeeer!, when he wasn't all bouncy at Book Haven; Ella got stuck with soup-stirring duties at Luke's Diner. Rikku was probably too full to be properly bouncy at the Wellspring Arms and Meditation Center, but she was still in a good mood. Worf came in to talk with Rikku about the holidays before meditating. Jen, meanwhile, looked like she got into quite the Black Friday scuffle over at Pizza Planet, and Mary was lazy and put Gunther to work over at the Arms Hotel. Viki also suffered a likely turkey coma over at Strokes of Genius. Dor just wanted to know why he had to be at the Android's Dungeon so early today.
Liir and Amber had their date down at the boardwalk, which involves talking a lot about food, family and...home, which doesn't start with an F. Mister Minsc and his hamster were soaking in the Onsen, and Rosie was a cleaning fiend at the Gig; Mister Mars came around and got questioned by Rosie about why he was limping. Mister Loki was there, too, and Rosie told about her Amazing Panda Adventures and learned about U.S. Holidays. The Trooper Station was a little a-buzz today about an investigation; both Sheriff Cooper and Detective Constable Day talked with Detective Kowlaski about a tricksy witness.
Mister Bindo was not so impressed with Mister Tino's Turkey Hat at Caritas, where Detective Constable Day was there for a drink, and Mister Barbossa was warned not to encourage Mister Tino's hattery shenanigans.
And that's all the news for today! Thanks for listening; I'm still super sleepy from turkey, so good night and have a prosperous tomorrow!
