Fandom Radio :: Friday, November 22nd.
Good evening, fellow Fandomites, and thank you for listening to yet another excellent broadcast on WTFH, by me, Turtle Wexler, here to bring you all the news that's fit to report on for this Friday, November Twenty-First! Let us not waste time and dive right in, shall we?
SCHOOL
In chemistry class, they learned how to make gun powder. Only in Fandom, I swear. Dean and Tyler commisserate over having doubles and Ino pesters Tyler about getting some medical attention. Rikku points out that the TAs could have run class with Tyler looking like that, but, well...gun powder. In the unsupervised hands of students like Rikku. You all see where I'm going with this? Good.
Awful class wasn't so awful this week because all we did was hit golf balls and the uniforms aren't as bad as some of the things golfers wear. Hannibal was all hot and TA-y, and Sokka wondered where all the windmills were. Where does he think we are? Holland?
And, in Awesome Class, they met Genghis Khaaaaaaaaaaan! Peyton and Dick were dutiful TAs, as usual, braving the hooooorde!
There was the usual staff meeting today, too, where there's punch and pie; well, pie. I don't know about the punch. Mister Skywalker notes that Tyler's not looking too good, and then gives Mister Minsc some frozen meatballs.
...Our teachers are weird. Not so weird is Mister Suresh being a bit chilly in his office, and Mister Bond being busy in his.
Buffy was also pretty cold in the library; I suggests she checks out some of the great deals on sweaters at Turtle & Canary this week! And then, at the office, they caught the hamburgler! I hope he wasn't trying to make mooseburgers.
DORMS
Cal was being lazy in his room, and Amber stopped in for a visit and jumped on his bed. Claire also stopped by and they talked about how Cal is preventing the ceiling from falling on them all. Well, you know, if it weren't for that whole thing with the hole in me and Jeff's room last year, I'd think this was crazy, but there might be some merit to it.
Romeo was being much more productive as he looked over retail management books. Oh! Oh! Romeo! Let's talk! We can do lunch! I know the business pretty well, after all, my friend. And Kaylee woke up with a ha-- err, not feeling well, and Ned was all adorable with her, as it should be.
There were posters for Blair's birthday party tomorrow up in the dorms today, of which I'm grateful for because that's one less party I have to report on.
TOWN
Mister Biff had a housewarming party at his place today. Mister Loki warned Mister Biff that his efforts to seduce him will fail. Good. Uhh...Detective Constable Day brought a present, Miss Atreides brought out the compliments in the host, and Doctor Jones, the female one, was there even though Mister Biff didn't know her. Mary brought cookies and Miss Walker brought her not-stripper self and a bottle of wine. Miss Millie made a mingling appearance, as well, Miss Bennett brought congratulations, and Mister Bond and Mister Biff talked about things that I'm not comfortable repeating. There was drinking, which is okay, because they're all adults, and Detective Constable Day and Mister Loki chatted a little, before she introduced herself to Mary and Mister Bond, while Miss Bennet introduces herself to Mister Loki. Miss Walker also introduced herself to Mister Bond. Don't let him near your cars, ladies, he'll probably blow them up! Just saying!
Ella had a cold at Luke's Diner, so I hope she stayed away from the food. Ben came in and was all worried about her. Chad was busy at Groovy Tunes, and so was Jenny at Pixie Dust. Guess which one involved more fire. Agnes studied up on spells at the Magic Box, which could have involved fire, too. Kaylee wasn't as productive as usual at Stark Industries because she, err, wasn't, um, feeling well. Sheriff Cooper came by to ask about radio, and Ben commiserated with her about...things that make you not feel well.
Rikku was fiddling with stuff at the Wellspring Arms and Meditation Center; Romeo was by to find out about Rikku's matchmaking. Viki worked on a card house at Strokes of Genius, while Eve worked on Christmas shopping at the York Gallery. At the Trooper Station, Mister Kowlaski was all frustrated with his computer, but Dective Constable Day is there to save the...err, day. Bah-dah-ching. Rosie is still a freaking adorable red panda at the Gig, where Miss Eclipse got a job.
Eclipse? Is that really her name? Wow. Anyway, Jen found pepper snow at Pizza Planet and Jack got caught in it, and Hurley painted a mouse droid at Covent Garden Flowers. Dor still had to ignore comics at the Android's Dungeon, which I'm sure he'll have to a lot. Mary had cookies at the Arms Hotel, which Mister Mars took advantage of and Doctor Tam mentions that he's staying on the island, yay! Welcome, welcome!
Mister Bindo healed Mister Tino right up after an incident at Caritas, and, at the clinic, Ronan has Alice and Tony shadowing him, with Tyler stopping in for whatever, since we don't know because people's medical problems are private and probably kind of gross anyway.
And that, my friends, is radio! Good night and have a prosperous tomorrow!
