Fandom Radio, Saturday, September 13
... free will, Joan. I have no idea what my message should be. And why am I even talking to squirrels?
*chittering*
Why are you pointing at that red light? That means I'm on the air, doesn't it. Great, just great.
Good evening, Fandom. This is Joan Girardi and I'm here with the squirrels to tell you everything that happened on our fair island today. And also to tell you that I'm running for Junior class representative on the Student Council and you should vote for me because... well, you'll see why if you listen to the broadcast.
School, which shouldn't be part of a Saturday broadcast
Mac opened the Library and played with some avionic kittens. Does anyone even go to the library on a weekend? I guess not, since there aren't any more notes.
In fact, it looks like that's it for the school section. Well, that's something at least.
Dorms, where people should be sleeping late on a Saturday
I don't know if Claire slept late, but she did have an upsetting phone conversation with her mother. Ugh, I can totally sympathize. Lee cuddled his rabbit.
*chittering*
... no, it's not a euphemism. And it doesn't say anything about his arms. Ned should get some pet care lessons from Lee though because he was apparently scratching his dog with an umbrella before Kaylee dropped by to ask an important pie question. Tony was painting his door with cough syrup again and, okay, Tony, I thought you were one of the more normal people around here. Clearly I was wrong. Oh, wait. Sorry. Apparently it was protective magic, as he explained to Peter. It says they tested it and got cherries. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Francine had a bookbag full of kittens. I'm not sure if that's good or bad either. Oh, but apparently my roomie, Blysse, stopped by and they chatted about fairy tales. Cool. I was wondering where you were.
And it looks like the Fourth Floor Common Room was the hot place to be tonight. Cal was there reading, which Romeo seemed to disapprove of before having some cereal. Romeo also meets Temari, even though she's not new. Amber was looking for Cal and showed off her purple toenails when she found him. Romeo and Amber discussed why their weeks were bad. Sorry to hear that you both had bad weeks. If you elect me to Student Council, I will... try to get rid of whatever made your weeks bad. Oh, maybe Amber's week was bad because Temari was a... I don't think I can say that on air. Um, not nice to her. Which apparently upset Cal. Temari also told Hinato that she shouldn't stutter. That's mean. Stuttering is a debilitating disorder. Hinata, I've done some research on it, if you ever want to drop by. I'm in 338. Cal was nice at least. They talked about being in the play. Amber was nice too. She thought that Yei, Hinata's kitten, was adorable. I think most kittens are adorable. And Romeo waved at Hinata.
Town, where people should party since it's Saturday
Tony got a phone call about stocks and pizza. That's... a weird combination. Abigal and Murdock took a walk through Fandom and chatted. Hurley opened Groovy Tunes, where Chad checked on him and introduced him to Prince Oscar Pedro. We have royalty here? Momoko came in and asked Hurley questions about the Drive Shaft CD he was playing. Turtle and Canary was opened by Turtle, who was working on campaign posters. Oh, Turtle! I am supposed to tell you that Marco is cute. Turtle explained democracy to Dor. Toby was also working on campaign posters over at Pixie Dust. I guess I should make some posters, huh?
*chittering*
What? No, I'm not going to carry them around with my shirt off. I don't care if you think that's what Toby will do. Tony stopped by to get leather pants. And stop making those swoony faces, it's really disturbing. Viki was drawing for fun at the Arms Hotel and explained to Jack what a panini was. Momoko already knew, apparently, because she was drawn in by the specials. Myn opened Stark Industries even though he doesn't know who is boss is. How did you get a job then? Anakin worked out with his lightsaber at Atlas Gym. Ammy and Issun found a suitable location for the art supply store they are planning to open and discussed their need for employees. Jen was thoughtful at Pizza Planet. Were you thinking about who the first person was that decided pineapple would be good on pizza? Because I wonder that a lot. Over at Book Haven, Fiyero was looking through his copy of the play. Karal brought him some tea and talked to him about needing to find a book that wouldn't turn into a kitten, which startled Fiyero. Yeah, I hear ya.
Martha Jones was at The Perk and the squirrels are making loud squeeing noises for some reason. Naomi welcomed her to Fandom, even though Martha stared at her. The Doctor came in and apparently Martha knows him because she got his attention. Ino bounced at Naomi even while getting more sugar and chocolate and then she recognized Martha as a newbie. But she was apparently cranky during her clinic shift. I'm not sure if that was before or after she bounced at Naomi, but apparently Ino thinks boys are stupid. You know, I can't say that I disagree.
And that's it.
*chittering*
What? I totally gave good reasons why I should be elected to Student Council. And now I guess I'm going to go make campaign posters. Good night, Fandom. This is Joan Girardi, signing off.
