Fandom Radio, Wednesday 3/11

So many notes today. I like it better when Wednesday mornings are short but…I suppose this will keep me busy for a bit.

So. Yesterday was much busier than usual but classes were mostly the same at the school. There were no teachers for Ethics and a movie for Basic Training.

Still nothing from the dorms but the porg helped with the party, it seems. That’s good. There is so much from the party and it makes him happy to be useful.

So, on to the town. Most things happened at Caritas but Sairis was selling charms at Liliana’s shop.

Everything else happened at Kitty’s Icebreaker Party which only had ice in the drinks. I think.

There were specials at the bar. Caleb, Flint, Henry, Henry, Arden, Adrian’s cat Boston (or is Adrian Boston’s person?), Jon, and Raiden all got drinks. Steve and Bucky discussed dinosaurs and the squirrels are snickering at that. Pam had a drink and talked to Rey about not playing the game and Adrian about swamps and groves. Liliana had a lovely dress which Jon noticed before discussing the trip. Sairis didn’t even make it into the back room before Harley wanted to know what squares he could fill.

And then there was the game where we all tried to fill our cards, with varying success.

Caleb was approached by Rey and Liliana about filling squares and by Arden about kittens.

Rey was questioned about squares by Henry and Harley and Liliana but Adrian was there for kisses.

Gregorith found himself sharing information with Kitty, Harley and Liliana.

I helped Rey and Caleb and Harley and Liliana and Arden and Boston with their cards.

Flint seemed to be having less fun than some others, perhaps, but he was still playing with Henry and Rey and Liliana and Adrian.

Anakin did not just cheat and instead played with Kitty and Liliana and Rey and Caleb.

Eric was, of course, eager to play with anyone he could. Rey, and Harley, and myself, and Liliana, and Don.

Kitty, when she wasn’t busy behind the bar, was asked by Arden for help with her squares.

Lydia, sorry, Miss Bennet, had a fancy dress that Rey commented on and Harley enjoyed as well and Liliana appreciated, as did Arden. Adrian thanked her for taking Boston home with her and Caleb came to fill squares.

Henry had nothing on her card yet when Rey walked up to her. Harley asked about dinosaurs, and Liliana about the cold, and Arden was someone she hadn’t talked to recently.

And then there was the other Henry as well. The one with the horse and the dog. Kitty offered to help him, Henry wanted to know if having the same name counted as doppelgangers, Harley wondered if he was famous, Liliana was horrified by his shirt collection, and Arden asked about other languages, and Caleb seemed to understand the square about shirts suddenly.

Bucky was approached by both Kitty and Liliana with questions.

This is getting long. I should have brought a drink with me.

*chittering*

No I don’t really want any rum. Thank you.

Harley asked a question right away and was answered by Kitty. Liliana and Arden asked questions in return, as did Boston and Caleb.

Don had a beer and his card and Rey checked on him and the card and discussed dying. Liliana asked about languages and Arden about teaching.

Liliana seemed offended at the idea she might not be threatening before she and Kitty discussed powers.

Adrian and Boston each had their own cards for the game and were questioned by Kitty and Gregorith

Rey checked on Arden when she saw her frowning.

Raiden was playing as well, and Kitty approached. Arden already knew what squares he worked for but checked with him anyway. Boston was sure that Raiden’s family was large. Caleb told him his class had been useful, I came over to see how his card was faring and then he and Gregorith exchanged squares.

Sairis had Liliana approach him about magic use, Gregorith about nicknames, and Rey about parties.

And then it seems Jon was the final participant in the game. Liliana marked him as being from another country, Gregorith asked about gremlins and Kitty just asked for help with her card.

Does anyone like the cold? Kitty, why did you put that on the card? Did you know nobody would ever be able to mark off that space?

Right. Well. That was a lot of notes and I’m going to get a coffee now. But perhaps we ought to do something similar sometime in the future.

I hope you all enjoy your Wednesdays.
