No, you seem to be confused, I was here yesterday, I--oh, why do I expect drunkard rodents to keep track of the passage of time? We might as well get on with it. Good morning, everyone, it is I, Miss Lydia Bennet, once again, as the squirrels have awakened me and harried me into the studio at this incredibly rude hour. You may consider my hair thoroughly pulled. One day I shall hex them all, just you wait, but today I shall report yesterday's news!
And to our new residents, no, I am not funning you.
Let's see...I suppose we shall begin with the school, where the welcome picnic was held. Mr. Henry of Skalitz discussed what they each did over the break with Miss Skywalker, and introduced Mr. Rogers to his new dog. Our new students, Mr. Karkaroth and Mr. Dooley met one another. They marveled over the food, and Mr. Dooley filled Mr. Karkaroth in on where he was--oh, dear. One of those. Well. You will catch up, sir. Mr. Dooley was welcomed by Miss Vess, who had some questions for him. Miss Skywalker was, as previously mentioned, also in attendance, and Mr. Dooley questioned her about the picnic in relation to the weather, and had his doubts about her being from space. Oh, no, she really is from space, I assure you. You'll get used to it. Dean Skywalker brought her a hat, and she and Miss Vess discussed the merits of holding the picnic inside.
Miss Williams and Mr. Boone discussed the weather and apparently had differing opinions on it, and Mr. Boone met Mr. Henry of Skalitz's new dog, Mutt. Mr. Rogers was staying warm courtesy of technology, with he and Mrs. Pryde-Barton discussing one of her classes, he and Mr. Anthony Stark discussing their dogs, and he and Miss Vess discussing changing the weather. Mrs. Pryde-Barton and Mr. Anthony Stark likewise discussed her class on glitter, and Mr. James Stark met Mr. Dooley, to whom he has been assigned as an advisor, and discussed the weather with Miss Vess. Mr. Anthony Stark and Miss Vess discussed staging a coup.
*pause*
I for one welcome our new overlords. Dean Skywalker and Mr. James Stark discussed more temperate options for the spring break before Miss Vess made a rather dramatic entrance to the picnic, arriving upon an undead horse belonging, it seems, to Mr. Karkaroth and not Mr. Boone. Miss Finch was feeling the chill, and she and Miss Williams compared it to the climes of the Midwest, which sounds like a nightmarish place, before she and Mr. Boone commiserated. My last few notes from the picnic report that Miss Henry and Miss Vi were also in attendance, and with that we may move along to--ah, the porg is very excited, so it seems I have news to report from the dormitory. I shall have to renew the protective charms on my room. Mr. Karkaroth and Mr. Dooley moved into their new room.
In the town, Mr. Dooley's arrival was noted at the causeway, and Miss Vess came upon the aforementioned undead horse. I do hope someone has put the poor thing, er, back out of its misery by now, but I've no notes on the matter, so with that, dear listeners, I shall leave you and find myself a cup of tea. Farewell!
