Yes, I know it’s a new year and I know I’m late but I was tired and…I don’t need to explain myself to you, Leroy. There are plenty of other people who live here you could be bothering right now.

So. We have nothing from the school because classes have not begun yet and we have nothing from the dorms because we rarely do but there is plenty from the town due to last night’s party at Caritas.

Kitty and Tino had decorated the bar and Tino had drinks on fire which seems like such a terrible idea but we all survived the night and so did the building. There was even a song from Jon and Steph on the stage.

But most of the notes are from the back room where the party was.

Kitty was very shiny and greeting people as they arrived and Yelena admired her very sparkly dress and offered to tie up Tino and punch Tony if either were necessary. Yelena had her own sparkly dress which I complimented her on and we wished each other happy new years. Rey had a lovely outfit as well.

Summer looked wonderful in yellow with stars and sparkles and Dean questioned the lack of pink and then bought a drink as an apology. Rey and Summer admired each other’s outfits and hugged and talked about the trip we took to Moya. I told Summer she looked good in yellow, and everything else, stop making that noise Leroy. Jon came to tell Summer hello and ask about resolutions and talking about classes for next week.

Liliana was at the party as well, all in purple. Percy told her they ought to stop running into each other at parties but Liliana disagreed. Rey worried that she was underdressed for the occasion in comparison to Liliana but was assured she was not. And she wasn’t. Rey looked lovely. And I told Liliana that she did as well. Captain Flint greeted her, as did Jon and Nell.

Dean was dressed as usual for the evening. Sabine looked nicer than he did and so he bought her drinks that were on fire and they discussed winters on the island. And Jane spotted him and received barbecue flavored kiss for her troubles.

Arden who was on time for her radio broadcast yesterday, yes, was also at the party. She tried to get Kitty a drink but Kitty reminded her she gets paid for the parties and they reminisced about Waffle House. Gray wished her a happy new year and she told him how she was going to space with Cal and Belle admired her dress.

Adrian and his cat, who was wearing a bowtie, were also attending the party. Yelena was happy to see him in a new hat and they discussed plans for midnight and…right. Rey complimented Adrian and Boston’s outfits and they discussed occasions for dressing up. Miss Lydia Bennet, the notes say I’m meant to say her name exactly like that, also greeted Adrian and the cat and discussed their holidays. And Flint wanted to know if the cat was always a cat.

Ignis had a very nice striped suit which Liliana of course appreciated. Flint also seemed to approve as they exchanged pleasantries.

Percy learned about dumpster fires and met Kitty who offered the name of a store where her dress came from.

Eleanor and Kamala were adorable and there is somehow even more glitter on these notes now than when we started.

Sabine had a fiery drink and then Percy introduced himself and asked about the weapons shop.
Graham had a shiny shirt and cloak which Belle approved of.

Kamala was disappointed her drink without alcohol didn’t catch fire.

Gladio had no shirt for the party but plenty of glitter and a hat. Jon wished him a happy new year and so did Nell who wondered if he was glittery enough. I doubt it. Not on this island.

Steph had a hat that lit up and Vi had…Steph’s pants which Steph seemed to appreciate. Kitty checked in and Steph mentioned running a game at the bar sometime. Steph and I talked about our holidays, and luck, and she promised to use alots and zombies on me if I ever forget something important.

Gray was dressed in grey and awake at least for his arrival.

Miss Lydia Bennet had a new gown for the occasion and she and Rey discussed future Supper Club plans. Flint was informed of all he’d missed last week at the fair that I also missed.

Rey and I discussed trips to our other homes while Raiden was disappointed by a lack of wieners at the party.

Don talked with Kitty about photos Steve had of Thor as a goat and Tony as a cat wearing sweaters.

Flint had a formerly flaming beverage and was pleased with that, as he told Rey. He and Logan had a conversation with very few words while Belle thought Flint might be a dragon.

Jon seemed a bit wary of the mechanical bull which seems reasonable here and Kitty offered him a drink without any flames.

Logan got a cheerful greeting and a dumpster fire drink from Kitty.

Jane was concerned about the fires which is wise considering Tino and the lack of firefighters we have now as she discussed with Sabine. I wonder how Travis is doing…

And the final arrival of the night was Belle and Kitty approved of her dress.

There was the usual countdown to midnight complete with a ball dropping and so much glitter. So much. Jon counted down by himself and Steph and Vi counted down together before Vi carried Steph home.

That’s all from the party.

But there is one final note about Will discovering even more birds at the clinic for Stabby. Swans, this time.
