Fandom Radio, Tuesday, October 28th
Hey Fandom, what's up, it's ya girl, Arden Finch back with more tea for another week. I'm here on time, nothing weird or disastrous is happening, and, for once, the squirrels aren't giving me a hard time, so lets quickly bounce to the notes to see if we can get this done before either of the latter two change!
In School, The Various Gods & You talked about the goddess Hela and Professor Thor and Dr. Blake apparently know different versions of the goddess and it was weird for both of them. In Fast Talking, we watched another movie.
No notes from the Dorms, but Town was a lot livelier now that everyone is back. Pick Your Poison saw Ms. Isley - oh, excuse me, Doctor Isley, sorry, ma'am - writing a letter, at least until Detective Watts showed up - hi Watts! - to introduce himself and check out the shop. Ms. Belova also stopped by, she had some sustainable coffee to give Dr. Isley as a souvenir. Turtle & Canary was having a chocolate sale since yesterday was National Chocolate Day and it's unfair I'm only finding out now. Stewart - hi, Stewart! - came in on an off-day to work on posters for Groovy Tunes' new monthly Open Mic night. Ooooh, that sounds interesting!
Infinite Consortium was a hotbed of drama with Professor Vess destroying a creepy artifact and then somehow got into trouble with that chair about it, or so she explained to Professor Scientia. Doc Harley was apparently super-excited for the Halloween party that Professors Vess and Scientia are throwing. Damn, I still need a costume. The Magpie Emporium had a sulking cat and a hardworking Vi, and at Starks we catch up with the equally hard-working Kamala - hi Kams! - keeping up with everybody else's work. Raiden made sure that Pizza Planet had appropriately spooky pizzas available, and Officer McGarrett was yelling at the internet at the Trooper Station today. Which, fair. It is the internet. And then over at the Clinic, Professor Not-The-Rich-One-Stark had his usual coffee for the nurses and a healthy respect for Stabby's pumpkin carving skills. Or pumpkin stabbing. Something like that.
Later on yesterday evening, Tiny was dressed as Mr. Northman at Devil's Nest, and the real Mr. Northman was not thrilled about that. Ms. Blake seemed more amused, though that might be because of the 'who'd look better in leather pants' conversation they had. And finally at their home, Ms. Nell was up on the roof with a book and some kittens, while Professor Amicitia regretted not bringing a book of his own.
And that looks like it's it for the notes, y'all. Once again, it's ya girl, Arden Finch, leaving you with one last Halloween-inspired song, The Ballad of the Witches' Road. Have a great day, Fandom!
