Fandom Radio, Wednesday 10/23
The porg is wearing one of those hats with the black and red squares and the flaps. It seems important that everyone be aware of this and now that you are it’s time to bring you the news of yesterday from here in Quebec. Quietly, so we don’t bother Summer.
Nothing from the school because it is a break week. And nothing from the dorms because the students are here. And…nothing from the town, perhaps because so many of us are here. So here are the notes the squirrels have given me from yesterday about things that happened on the trip.
At the hotel in the morning Adrian was knocked out of bed by Yelena who is apparently ‘a blanket-stealing mattress-hogging sleep-kicker.’ Sometimes it’s better to just sleep on the floor, Adrian.
Breakfast involved eggs with salmon and maple syrup crepes with apples. Beta was enjoying them while watching shows and was joined by Henry. Arden had breakfast after sleeping again after radio and then discussed plans for the week with Kamala.
Prompto was eating with Noctra who eats more than a small child could be expected to and Arden checked in with them. She also asked Raiden about breakfast cake and he checked on how she was feeling.
The spa in the hotel was visited by Liliana, of course, and Jon who was there to keep working on what he learned from her workshop. Ignis was there as well, with Liliana making sure he relaxed.
Adrian and Eleanor met when they both went for an early swim in the pool and naturally Gladio was at the gym.
Thee art museum was visited by Watts and Steven of course, and by Eleanor and Kamala and Steve and Tony and Prompto and Liz. Squirrels, why is there glitter in my hotel room? Don’t answer. Please. Lydia was also there and discussed buses and artwork with Kamala. Anakin was there as well.
Arden, Summer, and I all ended up at the Grand Market, Graham went on a bike tour and Yelena ended up in an art market. Steph and Vi went on something called a funicular. Adrian found a very local restaurant while Stewart found a music shop.
Dean went to Pub Nelligans for whiskey and was joined by Anakin who just sort of appeared. He does that, Dean. Lana came when Dean texted her to join him.
In the evening, Yelena and Adrian made apologies to each other with blankets and chocolates. Jon went to Onhwa' Lumina which sounds like it was lovely. And Stewart and I both ended up at MacFly Bar Arcade.
*chittering*
What? No. It was fine. Why wouldn’t it be fine?
And finally Arden and Cal were having a very friendly dinner. Oh. They’ve told each other how much they like each other. Good. That’s very good for them. That explains the glitter. There is so much glitter in this room now.
That’s all I have about yesterday for today. Don’t forget about Summer’s party in our room tonight.
