Fandom Radio, Saturday, August 17
Good morning, everyone, it is I, Lydia Bennet, here to bring you all the squirrel-reported gossip your ears can handle, a sentence I once never would have thought I'd say. Let's get started.
At the school, Romancing for Dummies learned about gifts for your beloved--everyone loves a present, it's true. Hitting Things with Big, Sharp Sticks combined shields with their swordwork, and Ms. Ingram and Mr. Amicitia discussed the fact that shields are hard. Cultural Appropriation visited somewhere called 'Epcot' to learn about different cultures, and there was a 'pop quiz' about the best idea one's had whilst in their cups in Big Thinking, Deep Drinking.
In the dorms, and the porg needn't be so excited about it, Miss Khan transformed back to a human from a sloth, which I will agree is newsworthy enough to merit inclusion, and then she and Miss Zarrin had breakfast and discussed their birthdays.
Moving along to town, it seems there was something of a trend yesterday, as Mr. Winchester likewise transformed back into a human (although he had been a dog, not a sloth) and had breakfast with Dr. Foster. Detective Watts did some paperwork at the Trooper Station, whilst at Stark Industries Miss Mariner worked on repairs, and at The Devil's Nest Mr. Lucifer was concerned over protesters at another of his properties. A particular song was quite determined to make itself heard at Needful Things, where Mr. Grant told Dr. Quinn all about his recent birthday getaway with Detective Watts--birthdays also seem to be a trend--and that Mr. Spector is from Chicago. Oh! We were there last week. At The Ink Spot, Captain Flint had some difficulty helping me find a book to help my sister Kitty in her happy condition, and Mr. Zane asked him about his display of small flags.
And those are all the notes I have, so I shall bid you farewell until next week, dear listeners, as I am desperately in need of a cup of tea.
