Fandom Radio, Saturday, June 22
Good morning, dear listeners, it is I, Miss Bennet, once again bringing you all the news the squirrels saw fit to scribble down yesterday. Let's get to it, shall we?
We begin once again with the school, where Food Network Appreciation both ate and learned about ice cream in deference to the heat, and let us all pause to give a moment of thanks to the person who invented the ice cream maker, as well as the person who invented air conditioning. You people truly do not know how lucky you are. Camping 101 met once more in the Danger Shop and went swimming, with Mrs. Ingram discussing swimming lessons with Mr. Amicitia. Yoga class also met indoors, with a focus on the 'third eye' chakra, and Improvisation in Action was also in the Danger Shop, where the students were attacked by ninjas, whatever those are. And finally, in Wonders of the Weave we watched a film.
There are once again no notes for the dorms, thank you very much--oh, do stop that. The porg intern is weaponizing his enormous eyes, but to no effect. I refuse to be upset about my privacy not being violated. Let's move things along to the town, where at the Trooper Station Mr. Grant brought Detective Watts a frozen drink--how is he meant to drink it if it's frozen?
*chittering*
Oh, it's only partially frozen. Like slush. Which is what Miss Mariner was working on at Stark Industries in the form of a 'coffee slush machine.' At Pizza Planet Mr. Raiden was making cold pizzas in deference to the heat, with his brother Mr. Gray getting an ice cream pizza--no clue how that works--and Miss Skywalker ordering one with vegetables before she went to train at her warehouse with Dean Skywalker. Dr. Quinn was at Needful Things, where Mr. Grant also brought her a frozen drink, and Captain Flint stopped by to ask if she bought furniture. Speaking of Captain Flint, he opened up the bookshop, which is now named The Ink Spot, and Detective Watts came by to introduce himself and yours truly kindly helped Captain Flint learn more about the future, including sunscreen and TikTok. They're both very important, you know.
And on that, I have run out of notes, so I shall bid you farewell until next week, dear listeners! Remember to wear sunscreen, especially if you're attending the festival in the park today!
