Fandom Radio: Friday, 01/12.
Gooooood morning, Fandom! And welcome to another edition of the exciting, endearing, heart-stopping thrill ride that is *trumpeting fanfare* the News! It's Friday, so you know that means you're here with none other than Graham 'The Man' Crac--
--YEE-OWCH! Hey! Leroy! Watch it there, buddy! Just just spilled your hot tea all over me--wait, tea, Leroy? Are you off the rum now--
*slight lips smacking sound*
...nope, that's just rum in the tea, I don't know why I am even a little bit surprised! Anyway, please be careful, Leroy, this is expensive equipment, we don't need you spilling your morning rum tea over any of it....or over me, for that matter! Anyway, where was I? Oh, right, the News, and we're starting, as always, with the School, especially since we're rounding up on our first week of the spring semester, so there's a whole new batch of exciting new classes to tell you about!
We start out our Thursdays now with Necromancer's Guide to the Undead, ooooo~oooh, sppooooo~ooky!...where Liliana is not happy about the early hour, and everyone introduced themselves to give a run-down of what kind of exposure to the undead they might have already. Then, it's on to Dice & DANGER!, where we all started by figuring out our characters, and let me tell you, we are in for a treat! But I don't want to spoil any of the good stuff for you, so we'll move on to Photography through the Ages!, which learned all about the camera obscura, which is a precursor to the modern camera...not-obscura, I guess! And, finally, we round out our Thursday classes with Battle Tactics & Strategy, where we talked a lot about stengths as weaknesses and weaknesses as strengths!
And, as a public service announcement, this is a reminder that there will be no smoking! in the library, even if Belle had to deal with a laptop that was doing just that from a gremlin.
There are so many questions, but do we really want to know the answers?
We have, of course, unfortunately, tragically, no note for the Dorms, except for the note about there being no notes for the Dorms, so over in the Town, which we do have more notes for, we have a bit of a color dispute over at Pixie Dust and another quiet, albeit later, day for Eleanor at Plant Parenthood. Libby was sharing her knew Japanese vocabulary knowledge with Stabby at the Clinic, where Kurt also stopped by to share some delicious sounding homemade stew and they talked about their new classes!
Over at the Maaaaaaagpie Empoooor~rium, Steph and the gremlins were having a mini-painting party, and I wonder if Jane joined in, too, when she stopped into pick up minis for her class? Wait! I'm in that class! We're getting minis? That's amaz--errrr, uhhh, sorry, Miss Foster, if this was supposed to be a surprise! Whoops? But that's incredible, that's so cool, that class is seriously the best, like I know we've only had the one lesson so far, but already, we've got barbarians and Dragonborn and Belle's a cleric, and--
*thunk!*
...
...since when are we throwing acorns?? I am not nuts about this idea, but, where was I, before I was so rudely interrupted? I don't care that they're not peanuts, I still feel a-salt-ed!
A-HEM.
So. The bath bombs at Pick your Poison are trying to unionize, and Margo was not amused, but she was amused when Ulysses showed up, not for poison, because they don't sell that, although everyoe agrees that that's still a little bit of a confusing name for the shop, then, right? Liz was being oh-so-productive at the Photo Hut, and Steven was in a good mood at the Museum. This was no doubt helped by the fact that Watts was there with his usual kisses and lunch and catch-up on their days, and he also got a visit from Arden--HIIIII ARDEN! Great job on your first broadcast the other day! I owe you a cupcake!--and she told him about her wilderness class and he complimented her on the excellent aforementioned first radio broadcast, as he should!
And then, over at the creepy, not-so-abandoned, but aparently very busy mansion yesterday, Liliana was mad about breakfast and then decided to go on a trip, which meant that Ignis was confused when he didn't find Liliana there. He then called Gladio to talk with him about Gladio's big potential moving plans. Then Liliana did come home eventually, and when she did....
*sound of a page turning over, then being turned over again*
Huh. It just says "Nothing else happened, oh god, please don't hurt me."
Well, maybe if you squirrels didn't going around chucking nuts at people in the middle of completely good stories.....Hmph! Anyway, on that ominous note, that was our last note, so I guess that's it for me this morning! Everyone, go have a great Friday, and I'll see you on the next one! Bye!!
