Fandom Radio: Friday, January 5th.
Goooooooood morning, Fandom! And welcome back! To another exciting, thrilling, no-holds-barred edition of!....*trumpeting fanfare* the Radio! It's Friday, and so you know what that means? It's Graham Time! That's right, it's me, your Friday host, Graham, Graham Crac--
*soft clattering sound, followed by squirrel-like groans and chittering*
I told you not to move that piece, Leroy! I could see the whole tower--Oh! Sorry, guys, I got a little distracted, the squirrels decided to play a game of Jenga right before I got in, and well...A+ for effort at least, Leroy. Looks like the porg intern continues to be our resident champion.
*complaining chittering*
Well, it's not his fault he doesn't ever have any dorm notes so he uses that time to practice! To me, it sounds like maybe if you spent a little less time focusing on certain--
*angry chittering*
Okay, okay! Dropping it, dropping it! Sheesh! Anyway, where was I? Ah, yes, right! We were about to get to the Notes, starting, as always, with the School, which, since we're still on break, only includes Belle at the library with New Books for the New Year!
There are no new notes for the new year at the Old Dorms, because we've seen the one saying there are notes for the Dorms time and time again--
Wait a second, is that why there's never notes for what goes on in the Dorms? The porg intern is too busy working on his Jenga ga--
*innocent porg sounds*
Awww, no, you're right, buddy, I know you try your hardest! You're doing a great job, keep up the good work!
Moving on to the section of notes where there actually are notes, in the Town, where maybe some of the books Eleanor was reading at Plant Parenthood were also new books for the new year? Boc certainly has some new looks for the new year over at Pixie Dust with some of his repurposed Christmas sweater coats! And there's no need for Libby and Kurt to find any new nooks to be cute in, because they're already back at it again at the clinic!
Meanwhile, over at the Maaaaaaagpie Empooooooor~rium, Steph got all her work out of the way good and quick so she could spend the rest of her time there on the phone, while at the Iiiiiinfinaaaaaate Consooooort~tium, Liliana had to deal with a sword that would not shut up, and--
*giggling chitters*
What do you mean, that sounds like me? Rude! I'm just doing my job here, you know! Anyway, she had a sword that screams when you use it apparently, but there were no screams, only cream-y cheesecake when Ignis stopped by, and they talked about the details of his babysitting plans for the weekend!
Stark was steered away from anything with carob or kale at J,GoB, where they also have cheesecake, and I am definitely getting cheesecake on my way into work now! Dwight worked on inventory at the Fix & Clean, and Liz, Prompto, and Noctra discussed last minute trip preparation at the Photo Hut....well, Liz and Prompto did, I hear Noctra didn't have that much to contribute to the conversation...and Steven was having a quiet day at the Museum, which meant it was a good time for Humphrey to stop by and chat about cool pets like Rex and how the island is just full of surprises, and, hoooo, boy, ain't that the truth!
And speaking of surprising, although, well, I guess maybe not really? But, anyway, it was Annie's first day back on the job at the Devil's Nest after her maternity leave, and while Tiny might have been trying to avoid her, her usual patrons were not! Watts expressed a relief for the return to routine, while regaling Annie with ruminations on recent events! Eric got to see pictures of the kids and confirmed that, yes, indeed, they are babies. Gladio caught up with Annie and a little and told her how he's got babysitting duty this weekend, which he also discussed with Nell, who offered to help. Marc suggested that Annie check the blender for sabotage before settling in to get to see baby pictures, too, which Annie also shared with Nell!
She also told Nell that if the weather was nice for the picnic, they might just be there in person, so if you even needed an excuse to go to the picnic....which is tomorrow, and I'm very excited for it, and I hope you all are, too, and I get to see you there, but we still gotta get through today, so at least go out there and make it a good one! And that's all the notes I have for today, so until the next one....bye!!!
Oh, what's that? You want to challenge me in Jenga? Haha, okay, a quick one! But I do have to get go--
