What's up, Fandom? This is Steph coming to you for the first time in 2024, and that was "January Hymn" by the Decemberists, and this is WTFH.
You know. If you're even on island this week. It's quiet.
Seriously. It's still break time, there's no Classes and no Dorms, and even in Town there wasn't a whole lot going on. Hell yeah, town businesses that were closed yesterday.
Prompto was up bright and early and making plans at the Photo Hut, so I'm guessing either no New Year's hangover for him or he made one hell of a constitution saving throw. He and Liz talked about their plans for their upcoming anniversary trip and couldn't believe it's been a year already. Seriously though, what even is time?
*trilling*
The porg just handed me a can of soup. That's as good an answer as any.
Raiden was not here for the Pizza Planet staff's superstitions about not cleaning on New Year's, because he has a restaurant and a health department certification to think about here. Those of us who owe half of our weekly sustenance to you appreciate it, man.
Connor woke up after falling asleep on the couch with Cutter and went out to sit on the balcony with a nice fresh cup of coffee. Is the smell of coffee what woke Cutter up, like coffee's reputation would have you believe? Inconclusive, but they did agree there are way worse ways to wake up on the first day of the year than with your significant other. Not sure if the text message Connor got was in consensus there, because I'm not a super nosy squirrel.
*indignant chitters, tiny stomping feet, door slamming*
Bye, Leroy. What -- oh. Speaking of nice ways to wake up, Stark and Summer had one of those, too. I should note that this was not on the couch, and did not immediately involve coffee, but any further details are not going to be coming from me, thank you very much.
And that... is literally everything I have. I'm seriously considering going back to bed. It's just that kind of week. Have a good one, everybody!
