Fandom radio, January 1st
*loud chittering and cheering*
Well. Yes, thank you. Try not to fry the radio with the confetti. It's January first of 2024, and the squirrels are already drunk. Or possibly still drunk from last night. Continue as you mean to go, I suppose.
We're still in break, so there is no news from the school, and there is no news from the dorms, either. Connor and Cutter had a quiet New Year's Eve at home, discussing the terms of their house arrest, which sounds unpleasant, but if there's anything I can do to help, let me know.
Everything else happened at Caritas, which had a New Year's Eve party. Stark got a drink and spoke with Jane, Humphrey was there and spoke with Stark and Jane, Summer showed up in a lovely dress,
*angry chittering*
Well, it was. And she's a friend. Get over it, Leroy. Stark, Jane, and Liliana also thought so when they greeted her. Stark also offered to share his sweater later on, Jane discussed how Tino had better not try to kiss her for the countdown, Liliana got to learn all about Summer Smith the drink, and I told her my resolution, which is to survive the next year.
Liliana was also dressed wonderfully, which Humphrey complimented her on, and she told him men should wear more colour, which we might come to regret, and they discussed their holidays. Stark also complimented her dress, and they discussed clothing and being too wrapped up in other people, which I'm just going to ignore. She and Jane discussed planes and traveling worlds, and she and Ignis flirted.
Dean Skywalker showed up in a shirt his children bought him for Christmas, which Jane noticed and Stark used as a jumping-off point to discuss the summer shirts.
Ignis showed up in a nice purple suit, Raiden was having a good time, and discussed holidays with Stark and Jane.
And I was there, too, and said hello to Liliana and Stark.
In the back room, Beaker had sparklers, which probably only Caritas's spells kept from being a very bad idea. Arden tried to talk him down, but didn't have much success. Belle was there watching the TV festivities, and she and Arden discussed their dresses and Belle's home. Graham was also there, looking extra glittery, because as he told Arden, this year he can finally enter the Tournament of Knights, which he is very excited for. Belle also noted his sparkle, and they said some things about glitter that I won't repeat around the squirrels. Arden showed up, as did Eleanor, and the two of them discussed fashion and family.
And that was everything of note. So I wish everybody a good new year, and I'll likely speak to you next week.
