Fandom Radio, Tuessday (8/8)
What's up, Fandom? That was "Prizefighter" by Youth Lagoon right here on WTFH, Fandom's one and only radio station with possibly the single best call sign in the history of, oh, ever, and you're hanging out on the airwaves with Steph.
What was going on in Workshops? Well, first off, More Pizza!, exclamation point not optional, dove into some controversy, ooooooh by heading to Chicago to experience deep dish. Is it pizza? That's an argument I'm going to stay out of.
... as far as you know. Look, this is not gonna be the hill I die on. Blacksmithing!, exclamation point also not optional, dove into the things you can do with the horn of the anvil and I'm not touching that one. You use it to make curvy things, okay? In case you were wondering. The Care and Appreciation of Animals!, exclamation point also also not optional, cared for and appreciated fish today. In the interest of full disclosure, Sidon did admit that he was a little biased toward this week's subject, which I guess isn't really surprising.
There were... no Dorms notes. Not too surprising that it was quiet there, but maybe a little more surprising that it was kind of quiet in Town, too.
At the ever-awesome Magpie Emporium, the plushie displacer beasts were up to their old trick of not staying where Vi put them, which I do not at all blame her for finding distracting. Apu was trying to celebrate Beach Party Day at Turtle and Canary, but Summer super drew the line at him hauling sand into the store. So I guess you can't exactly say she drew a line in the literal sand, but definitely in the metaphorical stuff.
Eddie was at the Fire Station assessing the supplies and prepping for Fire Prevention Month, which is in -- when is it?
*chittering*
... October. Figures. Anyway. Rosa was going through the recent radio broadcasts at Diaz & Ass., and Watts came in... this note has "so they could detective at each other" crossed out and underneath it says "to discuss several people and a chipmunk disappearing."
Oh. Oh no.
And then he was hanging out at home with Steven telling him about it while they prepped dinner. And, um... at Covent Garden Flowers Nell was looking kind of tired, which might have something to do with her and Ignis worrying about Gladio and Prompto -- and Liz, considering Prompto seems to be AWOL -- and trying to come up with a plan to search for them. Which might involve him having to cut her loose from overly active plants?
Oof. Boy. Um, on a slightly lighter note, there's Clinic crab lore! Stark came in to discover a new sign by Stabby's tank that may be the herald of a new crustacean religion. That. Sure is a sentence I just had to read.
