Good morning, today really is Thursday, I'm Clare, I'm still not a harp, and I'm prepared to tell you all about the bruises I have because Dean Skywalker has lost his ever-lovin' mind.

Which is not that different to normal weeks, aye, Leroy. But normally I'm not wearing a swimsuit to play.
Let's start with Shenanigans! We had to wear spangly underwear, which were not at all better than the normal hideous shirts, and then compete in a series of athletic events. I enjoyed watching Rosa on the rings, personally and the less said about Sam Eagle's swings into Vi, the better, I believe.
And in town, Shunsui knocked into an Etch-a-Sketch display at T&C and upset Apu, Danny was very impressed by pictures of Steve's Shenanigan ensemble--I can only imagine--and Duke agreed to go with Octavia as she got her new tattoo. And finally, Summer was trying to recover from a sangria hangover while also dealing with a bunch of customers trying to get over seeing dead people all weekend.
*chittering*
No, I'm not over it, Leroy. The last time something came back from the dead I was practically excommunicated. Summer was not happy to see Wanda, heard about Annie's dead visitor and gave an explanation about her own dead brother that makes my head ache, and got questions about the celery jelly shot from Jane: we all have questions but are rather worried about the answer. Jane invited Wanda to join her at the state fair in Minnesota where presumably there will not be celery jelly shots, and Watts and Stephen are just pleased as punch to be out together.
I hate to break it to you, but you're out multiple times a week together for more than a year now. Surely the novelty has worn off? Watts told Summer about his dead visitor, Steven and Summer talked about the nature of hope, Connor told Steven about his multiple dead visitors, Stark learned about Summer's horrible hangover, and Connor ordered all of the shots, including the celery one in a clear cry for help.
*chittering*
Well, yes, so did Raiden, but that's just Raiden. Jon made sure to explain why he got bruised up--he was my competition in the giant hamster balls--and Summer was very sorry to have missed watching.
It was a wee bit entertaining once you weren't actually involved. And that's everything! Slán!

But mainly Steven's curiosity about this was overshadowed with pity that someone as young as Clare would be so cynical about love to think that two people who had found happiness in each other and weren't hurting anybody was something to find mockworthy. He wished the best for her and hoped that some day she'd find the happiness that he had and that she would be treated with more kindness for it than she showed others.
