Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm here, I'm here, now where's this coffee I was promised--ah! There it is.
*argumentative chittering*
Don't give me that, Leroy; do you think I wanted to be harrassed by you lot this early in the morning when I was just trying to--
*pointed, angry chittering*
...look, maybe if you all weren't already hitting the rum at this early in the morning, your little squirrel minions would be able to tell the difference between you tellin' 'em to get Summer Smith and not The Black-Smith, but here we are. I'm not happy about it, either, you know, so can we please get on with the notes? Or next time I will bust out the squirrel crumbler.
*chittering sigh*
That's more like it. A-HEM. Good morning, everyone, Amaya Blackstone here, because apparently, there was a bit of a communication breakdown on who should be reading the notes today, and so you're getting me. It's been a while, but it's not exactly the world's most challenging job, so let's get on with it, shall we?
Starting, as always, with the School, classes yesterday included Intro to Dinosaurs--which, I'm sorry, are still just less interesting dragons--talking about something called Inostrancevia, the Art of Laziness had Kyōraku delegating his classwork to his students, of course. Buckling Swatches watched a very familiar movie, and WeirDON'Ts was canceled due to weird explosions.
....Beaker's in that class, isn't he? Say no more.
We have not notes for the Dorms, except that there are no notes for the Dorms, but over in the Town, things were quiet for Will at the clinic, where Stabby was printing out missing posters for his two cousins, although Libby also has Arthur over at the D&A on the case as well--
*interrogating chitters*
What? No. Why would my lobsters be involved in any of this? Anyway, Charlie was having a dance-y day at Groovy Tunes, and things were a bit chilly for Wanda at the Magic Box, which Rogers noticed when he came in and offered to have Tony fix it for her and also offered to get her a nice summertime hot chocolate. Meanwhile, Diego had a different kind of chill day at the trooper station, and Nell got a visit from Steven at Plant Parenthood, where they talked a little bit about weekend visitors before switching over to...beads and Nell's shop?
Oh, wait, it says bees and Nell's shop. Zounds, I forgot how terrible some of your handwriting it. Pawwriting? Either way, terrible penmenship.
....Pensquirrelship?
Moving on! Buck was a big fan of the fans at the fire station, Watts came into Luke's to get a vegan-friendly version of one of Ignis' dishes, and I worked on spear points literally all day at the Forge, which is an excellent opportunity to mention that if you're looking for any fine, custom metalwork in your near future, now's a good time to stop by and see me, mention this radio broadcast and you'll even get a discounted pri--
*chittering*
Look, you drag me here, you've got to let me advertise. We worked out a deal.
And speaking of working out...it was a typical busy Tuesday at Atlas Gym, which had a thoughtful Gladio, who talked with Nell about....oh. Oh, well, I can't really tell what they talked about because this is a lot of glitter all over this note, but I can make out that there's something about weekend visitors and a lot of arm touching? That's important?
*chittering*
Yes, I have seen his arms, but have you seen mine?
*more chittering*
You're right. We probably could start a club. But, moving on...again, boy, you squirrels are chatty this morning...there was no arm touching between McGarrett and Gladio, but they did talk about how mobile McGarrett is as an otter, Gladio also checked in on how Stark was doing after his visitor, and Summer was running later than usual but still looked cute, according to this note, because that's apparently a thing the squirrels--
*objecting chitters*
--that's apparently a thing that one squirrel really cares about.
And speaking of Summer, she invited Rey over to her place for a sangria night and to gab about their weekend visitors, while Nell had her usual Tuesday evening gathering over at her place, which involved a lot of fruits, and maybe even bees or beads, I really can't tell. Guests included Gladio, who brought fruity drinks and suggested a blind taste test of them, Ignis, who chatted about the visitors, or lack thereof, over the weekend with Nell herself and also with Lana, who got to tell Nell about her vistitor as well, and Lana and Gladio probably talked about something, too, the squirrel kind of fell off on this last one.
And that is the last one, so with that, I'm going to head back to my shop where I belong and try to think of other rodents I can maybe eat on a stick so's these guys go back to leaving me alone for a while because--
*angry chittering*
How dare you, I was celebrating local culture. Don't blame me if you and yours are significantly lower on the food cha--
