Fandom Radio: Friday, July 7th.
Gooooood morning, everyone! Here we go again! It's Friday, and so you know what that means!
*chittering?*
Ha-ha, true, it is the end of the week before the weekend, but it's also time for...
*trumpeting fanfare*
Radio! With me, your favorite Friday radio host, Graham! Let's get into it shall we?
A new summer session means new classes at the School to talk about...or, well, some new ones, some returning ones. Mostly returning ones. The only new one is Team Building for Fun AND Profit, which used their time to get to know eachother better. And then? The old chestnuts from last session: we have 2 Lava 2 Floor, which was very pink this week, which meant so were all of us, unless you were Steph, who managed to win it all! More Yoga did...well, more yoga, with a focus on the root chakra, and in 2Paint2Ball, people got ready to shoot paintballs at each other, and Alara won! And finally, at the library, Belle was pondering what made a book a beach read, and my guess is probably the sand. But water I know? Who can really tell for shore?
*reluctant rimshot*
Thank you, porg intern! And hey! Speaking of the porg intern, it was a pretty light day for him yet again, as the only note I have for the Dorms is that there are no notes for the Dorms.
But over in the Town, Boc was surprised to find out that he'd been enrolled in a class while at Pixie Dust, and Eleanor was a bit distracted at Plant Parenthood. Prompto was a little concerned about a scheduling conflict over at the Photo Hut, but Liz assured him that it would be fine.
Things were a little tense at Luke's, but that didn't stop Marc from stopping in to point out that Duke was looking pretty rough, and find out about why that was. Dwight seemed a bit restless over at the Fix & Clean, and Libby took a break from looking up crab detectives at the clinic to have lunch with Kurt, especially because they missedlast week.
Steven got a visit from Nell at the museum, where she brought him some absolutely amaaaazing-sounding strawberry shortcake to enjoy while they caught up with each other, and over at the Maaaaaagpie Empoooor~rium, Steph seemed a little out of it, but not so much that she couldn't chat with Watts about the nature of the dreams they'd been having that have caused their currents states of troubled sleep.
I'm...kind of sensing a theme here? Maybe? I don't know, let's keep reading!
Lucifer was cooking up a storm...not literally!...on the Rouge, Lebenese, to be specific, as he told Duke and Octavia, who appreciated the aroma of it and, eventually, I imagine, the taste of it, too!
And, finally, at the Devil's Nest, Annie had an earworm....not literally!...and strawberry drinks on specials! Wanda stopped in hankering for a mojito and talked with Annie about the humidity and the weird, nostalgic dreams they'd been having lately. Gladio got a bellini and talked with Annie about his teamwork class, and Watts got a margarita and the topic of weird dreams also came up when he chatted with Annie, and now I almost feel a little left out that I'm not having any? Should I be worried?
*chittering*
...yeah, okay, that's a good point. Anyway, Marc got a whiskey and talked with Annie about her kids' potential future career as singing bartenders, and also checked in with Watts to see how he was doing.
And that's the last of my notes for this week! What will we have in store for us next week? Guess you'll just have to tune in to find out! Until then, I'll see you around, everyone! Bye!
