Fandom Radio, Wednesday 7/5
I hope everyone had a good holiday. If it was a holiday that you celebrate I know not everyone does. I don’t, really.
*chittering*
No, I didn’t go see fireworks where would I go?
So even though it was a holiday here we still had classes at the school. The day began with Introduction to Dinosaurs Part 2 taking a quiz for fun. The Art of Laziness had lazy introductions. There were also introductions happening in Buckle Those Swashes. There were no introductions in Sam Eagle Presents WeirDON’TS: How Not To Be Weird, Part 2 but there was Beaker and Beaker brought with him fireworks and a band of penguins. One of those things exploded.
Unfortunately for Intern Porg we had no notes from the dorms but at least he had some over the weekend. So we shall move on to the town.
Will was in the clinic to the surprise of the nurses and Stabby was concerned about missing cousins in New York. I hope they’re found. Arthur was dealing with odd phone calls about fireworks at Rosa’s office. I wonder if that’s better than odd calls about animals?
There were only 3 of us at the gym yesterday with Gladio but there were new noodle flavors in the claw machine. Summer had another new outfit, of course, Nell was working on kicking things, and I decided to practice punching things again.

No not for any reason Leroy, stop looking at me like that.
Amaya had to attend a ceremony for her lobsters becoming citizens of this country before opening the Forge. Charlie was being lazy and playing a game with the stereo at Groovy Tunes. Nell wasn’t being lazy at Plant Parenthood but she did have a book to read when it was quiet.
Ignis had an American theme for the food at the diner in honor of the holiday. Marc questioned him about the color of the meat which seems an odd question for Ignis to be asked. Watts came in for a vegan lunch and talked to Marc about possible evening plans.
Those evening plans, at least for Watts, ended up being the usual Tuesday night gathering at Nell’s. Gladio brought firework themed sodas along with some Cup Noodle™ to share with Nell and not tell Ignis about. Oh. I hope he’s not listening. Ignis brought sliders and discussed taking Summer’s class with me on Fridays. I’m sorry, Ignis, for everything you’re going to be subjected to but you did bring this on yourself. Watts brought red, white, and blue cinnamon rolls and spoke with Gladio.
Lana was also there to discuss the idea of bringing one of her holidays here to the island in the future. Later on, Watts and Ignis both left, while Lana stayed and commented on how fireworks come from the ground here rather than the sky, and Gladio...
Where did you even find a firework that would explode glitter everywhere? That was unnecessary. Fine. Gladio offered to bring Nell something to enjoy on the roof which she found a bit startling and the squirrels seem to have found worthy of an excessive amount of glitter.
Hopefully that’s all the glitter I’ll have to deal with today. Although it’s Wednesday. You never know what happen on a Wednesday in the summer.
One last note. Watts was up late at night to go knock on the door to Steven and Marc’s apartment. I thought he had a key?
That’s all for today. Hopefully Anakin won’t be doing anything too terrible to us later in the day.
