Fandom Radio, Tuesday (2/28)

That was "Falling in Rain" by Polyenso, and you're listening to WTFH with yours truly, Steph. What's up, Fandom? Ready for your Tuesday morning news about Monday? Hope so, 'cause that's what you're getting.

How about those School notes, my intrepid intern porg friend? Thanks.

Life Skills was cancelled, just to make that process of adjusting to non-vacation life a little easier on everyone who bailed on this place last week. Good looking out, Summer. Sensory Deprivation Combat Training was not cancelled, on the other hand, but Ignis did let everybody go over the course several times as a refresher.

Dorms were pretty quiet, but Town is where stuff happened. Nothing was getting between Connor and his good mood at the Museum, not even Blathers, and Cutter came by with pastries to discuss possible future excursions and possibly kick that good mood up a few more notches. Summer had her headphones on to drown out Apu's complaints about Prompto at Turtle and Canary. This is what headphones are made for. Annie came in to catch up with her about the trip and something about a time-travel briefcase because you know what, why not. Prompto, sleep-deprived in that new parent way, still toughed it out at the Photo Hut and even offered to watch Noctra so Liz could get a nap herself. And now I don't have to judge him for trying to get out of dad duties. Vi was at the Magpie Emporium feeling a little chilly, but I was there with some hot jam doughnuts to help with that.

Shut up, Leroy, that's not a figure of speech, but see if I ever get you any literal doughnuts now.

Over at Diaz & Ass., or is it Asses now, Rosa was transcribing all the recent radio broadcasts and leaving memos for her employees. The Furnado vet was filling Sakaki in on what she missed at the shelter while she was gone, but given that she was busy snuggling her cat I think it's a safe bet what she missed the most. Nell's kittens missed her the most, since she had to spend a lot of her flower shop shift keeping them entertained. Eddie was having a nice chill Fire Station shift that I am not going to call normal because I feel like that'd be inviting trouble no matter what the notes say, and Steve was dealing with Calvin's sulkiness at the Trooper Station because somebody else got crank-called instead of them. Calvin, that sounds strictly like a you problem... or it would be, except you went and made it Steve's too.

Raiden kept finding bags of some kind of pizza chips in the Pizza Planet pantry, in case you were wondering why you got free bags of them with your orders yesterday. I have never heard of these things, why --

*chittering* Oh, it's a 90s thing, that explains it. Yeah, I barely remember any of that, but Steve came in to be all excited about it. You know how old people get about the 90s, right? Like that.

My sincere apologies to anyone who walked unaware into the glitter-stravaganza that was the Devil's Nest last night and didn't want to A) be covered in glitter or B) see Eric shirtless because obviously the glitter was going to... like... ruin his shirt or something? Yeah. Sure. He told Gladio it was a Mardi Gras thing, not some new look he's trying out, and also told him about the bar he owns back in Louisiana.

Steven was asking his fish for ideas -- they didn't actually have an answer, which I kind of have to clarify here because have you met this place, but Watts came over to bring him a present and --

*notes rustling*

Oh. Yeah. Uh. On to the weekly Clinic report and Crab Lore update, the nurses complimented Stark on his tan and assured him that Stabby loved the postcard he sent from the trip.

And it looks like this is all I have for you today, so have a good one until next week, everyone!
