Fandom Radio Wednesday 10/5
…thank you squirrels and porg for that song. Songs?
*chittering*
I see. A medley of songs from musicals? About France and…Camelot. Where’s that? No, I don’t care if it's a silly place. This is a silly place, sometimes.
Classes at the school weren’t any sillier than usual, at least. The Libraries and Books class learned about some libraries in France, It’s Actually Not That Complicated watched a movie where a man suddenly could hear women’s thoughts which sounds like something that might happen here. American Inventions learned about the invention of sliced bread and ate sandwiches and then How To Deal With Your Dark Side practiced defending their own minds. That’s a good thing to know how to do. Keeping people out.
Nothing from the dorms and more sad faces from Leroy and his fellow reporters on the notes. But there seemed to be plenty happening in the town.
*sound of tiny coconut hoofbeats*
What…? Nevermind. It seems a lot of the notes were due to a Belle and Graham being bitten by a gremlin and thinking they were other people. Oh. We haven’t really talked about the gremlins in class yet. Maybe after the trip we ought to. Graham and Belle, who were Arthur, King of the Britons and ‘Brave Sir Robin’ at the time met up with Charlie who may have become their minstrel who hopefully wasn’t eaten. What? Guillermo directed the Quest towards the school. I wonder if they found what they were looking for? Oh. No. Charlie went to work where she spoked with Tisarwat and helped Graham-who-was-Arthur continue his Quest. Arthur-who-was-really-Graham’s Quest also led him to Caritas where Arthur-Graham questioned Kitty about his grail while listening to the zombies play country music. The Quest also led Robin-who-was-really-Belle to the fire station where Buck thought the spiders were gross and Belle-who-was-Robin ‘bravely ran away.’ I see. At the clinic, Will was able to go inside this week where he found Stabby building a barricade and listened to the sound of angry crabs? And when Robin-Belle arrived on the Quest, Stabby began throwing tiny furniture. Stabby!
The Devil’s Nest was free of quests but full of long island iced teas from Lucifer and Tiny, while the Perk was also Questless but instead full of pumpkin spice coffee and Connor doing research. Surf’s Up was full of the usual porgs with Billy and one wanted goggles. Amaya worked on daggers at the forge before Dwight arrived to give her some wood. Stop snickering, Leroy.
Liz decorated for Halloween at the Photo Hut and Prompto brought her sandwiches and the squirrels have drawn little glitter hearts around this. And finally we have notes from the museum where Watts was keeping Steven company and they had visitors in Nell who spoke to both Watts and Steven, and Liz who only spoke to Steven. I ought to check on him today.
Finally we had the Chopped: Fandom Edition class where Summer and I offered French cupcakes even though one was really a muffin and everyone was meant to make something else. Luckily none of the ingredients were horrifying this week.
That seems to be all, the porg is still disappointed I do not have a ‘proper sign-off’ and I imagine the squirrels will still make me do this next week, somehow, even though we may be on a boat in France at the time.
