Denizens of Fandom, that was the Shins with "Sleeping Lessons,", this is WTFH, and --

*drumroll*

-- you're on the air with Steph. Thank you for that introduction, intern porg, you're getting surprisingly good at this for someone without opposable thumbs as far as I can tell. And without further ado, all the news from Monday that's fit to be scribbled on index cards by drunken squirrels!

Starting with School notes, Intro to Fandom went over the sweet, sweet perk of living here that is travel by portal. Non-Deadly Heroics was non-existent with Aphra and Isabela AWOL -- yes, Leroy, maybe they assumed this was break week instead of next week, but what even is time any more? A weird soup, that's what.

*chittering*

No, I can't actually claim credit for that one. What did Fight Stuff students fight this week, you wonder? Each other. That's what. Diplomacy, meanwhile, had to strategize about the kind of French language skills that are useful on vacation. Nothing going on in the Dorms, so we move on to Town.

Connor took on the daunting yet unenviable task of organizing a totally randomized pile of Museum paperwork, arguably totally rewarded by getting an invite from Cutter to come on the break trip. At the Photo Hut Prompto was a texting machine, though luckily for his thumbs Liz distracted him from that with coffee and interior decorating plans. Summer wasn't questioning why Turtle and Canary was full of hummingbirds and butterflies as long as Apu cleaned up after them, but she did reassure Goose, who was worried about Ignis not being able to make it back here, and explain to Liz that the invasion of flying creatures was because yesterday was their super obscure and semi-random holiday. At Diaz & Ass., which is never not funny, Rosa was investigating... France, for break trip prep reasons.

Pizza Planet had some seafood-themed pizza going and Raiden in a super good mood and singing while he worked. On a similar but slightly horrifying note, all the drawers at the Trooper Station were filled with Old Bay flavored goldfish crackers. No, my sources don't know why. Neither did Steve. Ulysses was totally not sleeping on the job at the Mystery Sign Theater 3000, except maybe a little. Hey, let him have a little nap as a treat.

Sakaki got bitten by one of the Furnado cats during its vet checkup, although the important thing for her as well as this particular squirrel reporter seems to be that the cat was feeling much better afterward. Speaking of cats, we have one at the Magpie Emporium, where Vi and I were considering the merits of sprawling out in a nice patch of sunlight like Saffron was. And it wasn't just her! Nell's new kittens were doing the same thing at Covent Garden Flowers, where Watts got to meet them when he brought Nell a book and Liz came in for some advice on plants.

At the Devil's Nest, Tiny was trying to have some kind of Swedish theme going but Eric was not about the green olive... uh... smorg... thing. Gladio told Eric about where he's been when he came in looking for -- oh my god -- Cup Noodle soda? Bro. Why. Also in the realm of 'why,' Raiden actually wanted to try Tiny's smorgas-thingie or possibly try to make a pizza version of it.

*tiny squirrel sobbing*

That's, uh. Very dramatic of you, Leroy. Looks like we also had Marc in the park, hanging out on a bench with a somewhat bottle-shaped paperbag. Liz understandably came by to check up on him, and heard about him, uh, screwing up and dropping info that Steven wasn't supposed to know about. Wanda met him for the first time and they discussed something about half their universe disappearing and reappearing? Irene wanted to know if it was a picnic, which got Marc to offer to share his whiskey. Marc insisted he was fine when Stark asked, and Stark wasn't buying it. It's weird how that, like, never works but we still keep trying it, huh. Watts wasn't buying it either, walked Marc back home, and ended up having to explain to Steven that it was Monday.

Seriously. Time, something something, weird soup.

And finally, in your weekly update of clinic-related Stabby the Crab lore, Stark found out from the nurses that Stabby had a baguette because... he was getting ready... for the trip to France. Oof. Who's gonna break it to him? The nurses didn't want to.

And on that note, I'm gonna leave you with this final thought: would you be the one who wants to break a crab's heart that way? Until next week, Fandom -- this is Steph, signing off.
