Fandom Radio- Sunday, September 25
Morning, all. This is Jaye, with yesterday's news of you and all your friends and relatives because you're all too busy with your friends and relatives to otherwise care what everybody else is doing.
it's Parents Weekend, there's actual school news, with Hannibal and Jon accidentally sharing an office. Jon got a visit from Miss Grayling about Jo, and Professor Broom went to talk to Hannibal about Liz, and elsehwere Shunsui had visitors with him for his office hours.
In the dorms, TJ was sulking in front of the TV in a common room and got to commiserate with Kurt over who they made cry so far. I dunno, that sound like a successful Parents Weekend to me.
Then we move to town, where there's just a dumb amount of stuff. But hey, Dwight revivied Emo Beach! Plus he got some super weird visit from Layla, so there's that. Lana held office hours at the Perk and Amaya did work at the forge in case anyone needed her, but Irene showed up to apologize, and over at Luke's, Miguel brought his brother to work, while Billy went to work at the surf shop. Diego was doing bachelor party work at the trooper station, which he talked about with MM, and he got to tell New Steve about who's not invited to the wedding. Nell tried to escape the picnic- it's coming- and got a visit from "Steven" and Layla and got her birthday planned.
All right, let's get to this fall picnic thing that a bunch of you went to. Someone named Hellboy showed "Steven" cat pictures and explained who was here for Liz, Lana and "Steven" talked about their guests and he said she needs to meet Watts, Jo dragged Deirdre to meet Graham and talk about where they're from, and that Hellboy guy got an offer of help from people that are referred to as "The Aunties" which makes me feel weirdly uncomfortable. Liz and Prompto got sappy, and Goose and Prompto got awkward with talk of Ignis, Stark and "Steven" introduced each other to Layla and Chiana, who also decided to make friends with George. You all know too many people. Gray and Raiden had a conversation with their brothers about face paint, and Kamilah was very impressed at Tahani about everybody's body paint. Definitely not skin. Totally body paint.
Over by the food and drinks, Ashara struck up a conversation with Alara, Guillermo brought his mom Silvia to meet Kurt, The Aunties flirted with Arallt and were weird trying to get Layla's story, and Summer and Chiana compared all sorts of notes on Stark, so have fun with that knowledge, Stark! There were also activities, like pumpkin carving, where The Aunties were pretty strict on being called that at Libby, thus proving me right on the creepy thing, and Kurt... well, sort of witnessed a shouty interaction from Libby's guests. Watts and "Steven" carved pumpkins, and Annie brought Kimiko over to meet Watts, and Beta was apparently doing the carving for Alva. And then there were the hayrides, where Arallt caught up with Summer about floor rugs.
It was another night at Caritas, where Libby and Zo got drinks before karaoke, Michelle judged Clare before heading for the mechanical bull, Colin Robinson asked for an updog and got disappointed, and Marc told me he's not available in a few weeks. There, now everyone is informed. Finally, Summer, Mr. PBH, Stark and Chiana headed for their own party, as you do.
And that's it. I'm out.
