Jaskier: Well, this is certainly a goodly pile of notes.

Yennefer: I suddenly understand why the squirrels dragged me out of bed so early.

Jaskier: Well, you're helping out a poor, innocent bard here.

Yennefer: ‘Innocent’ is rather a stretch, don’t you think? At any rate, let’s get on with this. Soonest started, soonest at the mimosas, and all that.

Jaskier: Let's get the easier part done over at the school then, shall we? Well, it appears that Practical Wood Working was cancelled for the weekend. Hyrule History and Legends learned about the fantastical creature, the blupee. Which I'm sure Geralt has treatises on how to kill. In The Adventuring Life we worked on the best way to pack for life on the road. Topics In Sith Philosophy had guests to discuss their thoughts on the subject matter. Jo was over in the library with a visit from Ashara who was shocked at all the books therein.

Yennefer: She was shocked by all the books in a library? Where is this girl from?

Jaskier: Space? I think space. With the event this weekend, the usual game was cancelled at Magpie Emporium, but Graham still had a visit from Charlie to warn him that her aunties were in town and thus may come to speak with him. Guillermo also stopped in with his mother Silvia to introduce Graham to her. Watts at the Trooper Station set about with busywork today. At Fix and Clean, Dwight was prepared for a normal day before he received a very upsetting visit from his father.

Yennefer: I could turn him into a toad if you like.

Jaskier: Let's keep the option open, but not in regards to me, okay? Pizza Planet had Raiden getting things in order so that he could attend the soiree later on. Jaina brought her husband to try pizza for the first time and Steve with the tattoos brought his step-daughter along to pick out pizzas. At the accursed Fast Eddie's, the establishment was prepared for the influx of guests. Yennefer---You traitor!

Yennefer: I have no idea what you mean.

Jaskier: Yennefer questioned what happened to earn such indemnity. He was wrong, that's what happened.

Yennefer: It sounded like more of a disagreement of taste to me, and as yours has always been questionable, I must say I see his point.

Jaskier: You traitor. He also spoke with Clare, and her guests Michelle and James before plying them with cheap beer and bowling shoes. I don't even know what bowling is! Luckily neither really did Rey---also a betrayal--or Chiana who entertained Eddie with their being from space. Bowling was a mix up of Rey's guests and Clares guests with a lot of cat-calling between the two of them, though the notes are confused on the details there.

Yennefer: Leroy, I must say, I expect higher standards of this from–I’m talking to a drunk squirrel about its work standards. What is my life?

Jaskier: Look, sometimes it's best to not question them further than necessary. The Hotel was open for guests to check in for the weekend. At the Firehouse, Travis wasn't expecting any guests, but then arrived Stark along with Vic, who was Travis' guest, and Chiana, who was Stark's guest. Nell spent her day busy setting up her new shop which should be opening soon according to the squirrels. Jon had a party about not having a guest with Irene and Billy as his guests therein. Danny was busy cleaning up with Steve with the tattoos to make sure everything was safe for his kids to come into the apartment.

Yennefer: Make sure you hide all of the marital aids. That’s very important.

Jaskier: Oh, yes! Perhaps a trunk would be useful there! Over at the Devil's Nest, Lucifer was have a perfectly normal evening. Eric was there to do the gods' work in looking for someone to spend the evening eith even if Lucifer did not approve overmuch. Layla was introduced to Lucifer by Marc and inquired as to if he was the vampire bar owner. Tavin was there to drown his familial sorrow. Lazlo was there with a doll and Colin Robinson who informed him how long he'd been away for before attempting a joke with Lucifer.

Yennefer: Oh, the doll is possessed. It’s in my pile of notes. He didn’t merely have a doll in a bar, although I suppose that wouldn’t be the strangest thing to happen on this island.

Jaskier: Could be either! Steph had Alex stay with her for the weekend and also invited Vi for them to meet. Details pending! Rey had her guests come along to her training session and to meet Anakin and his guest, Luke who was shocked to learn he was a bit of a legend for them. Anakin also met Jane's guest of Valkyrie who got him to drink alcohol of dubious legality. Rey also got to meet Valkyrie and was invited to New Asgard. Which sounds nice? Is it nice? The squirrels aren't certain.

Yennefer: Who knows? At the Parents Weekend Picnic, a registration table was set up, and saw a brisk business in name tags. Logan and TJ were confused by one another, and, quote, "Gray's hot brothers," end quote, wondered where he was and concluded he must be asleep. Colin Robinson signed in for both himself and a possessed doll. Just did some staring at Kurt, and while staring is never polite, I believe Kurt is one of the blue students, so that's somewhat understandable. Kamilah approved of Chiana's look, and then Chiana and Arallt--am I saying that correctly? Chiana and Arallt did "double takes" at one another, apparently because they are both grey. Michelle refused to wear a name tag, opting instead to shout, embarrassing both James and Clare and distressing Just, who has apparently never heard a lady fucking swear before. And Layla met up with Marc and Steven, and hugs were exchanged.

Jaskier: Tis the season, as they say here! There were beverages and food for people to imbibe as well! Father Cat confused both Michelle and us by being a talking cat with a human child. Quentin received a warm welcome from Margo and vaguely threatening one from Irene. Aloy had a large number of guests for herself and Beta before being hit on by Valkyrie who shared who she was there to visit. Mr---ah...Mr. Poopybutthole was there for a delighted Summer. And I'll just leave it at that. Wanda made and appearance that drew the attention of Valkyrie as a friend of a friend, Scott whose daughter wished to meet her as she was famous back home, TJ who--oh, mistook her for her own mother and made Wanda cry. These weekends can be very difficult. Luckily for her, Annie was there to help her out of that trouble. Liz met Layla and shared how good a friend new Steven and Marc are to her. Scott and his daughter enjoyed the festive food. Vi met with Zo, who was a guest of Libby's and had Steph check in to confirm she'd be coming to see a movie with her and Alex. Steve with the shoulders was cheered up by meeting Scott's daughter, Cassie to share which other Avengers were about. Stark found out that Vic was a here as a surprise for Travis and helped her go find him outside of the mixer. George met Hellboy--that's quite a name--and they shared who they were here to visit before New Steven helped him along to find Watts. Speaking of the man, Watts and Steven kept a look out for any guests before Watts met MM, a guest of Annie's who was here for the first time.

Yennefer: Additionally, people mingled. Fascinating, I know. Libby was excited to find her mother and baby sister, while Bellamy had to let Michelle down as too young for him. Kurt met Libby's friend Zo, and Summer met Kimiko, and Goose introduced her to his father. Valkyrie was hit on by both Isabela and Bellamy, though she was more amenable to the former than the latter. Sidon met Arallt (still not sure I'm saying that correctly), and Goose, who still goes by Goose, met up with his father. Prompto and Liz met with Hellboy, who apparently goes by Hellboy, and Hellboy's father, who goes by the much more reasonable 'Professor Broom.' Deirdre found Jo, and Kimiko expressed her disaappointment with Diego's haircut. Guillermo and his mother found one another, as did Alara and her sister Solana. Margo and Jon chatted about whether or not they had guests. Kamilah's sunglasses garnered compliments from Erend. Irene and Jon discussed their mutual lack of visitors--yes, it is a blessing--and then she spoke to Marc. Dwight spoke to Gabriel, and Lester and Connor found Cutter--a lot of 'er's in that conversation--and then were found by a...second...Connor.

Jaskier: Look, we just give the new Conner a nickname to separate them!

Yennefer: Welcome to Fandom, Second Connor! Moving along from that, Alex and Steph were excited to see one another. Marc was introduced to Hellboy, who still goes by Hellboy, by Liz, and Libby spoke to Ashara, met Alastair, found out about Kurt's guest Logan from him, and finally met up with her friend Zo who told her that her brother is here.

*chittering*

Yennefer: My mistake, Libby's not done; Jo introduced her to Deirdre. (Popular girl, that Libby.) And now she’s done, and I think–hope?--we are as well.

Jaskier: I pray to the gods it's done. And I don't even believe in any of them!

Yennefer: Strictly a lip service Melitelean myself. Well, we are going to assume that any notes that slipped under the table don’t exist, and leave quickly, before the squirrels find them.

Jaskier: Yes, definitely.

Yennefer: Brunch?

Jaskier: Fine, but not the place with the patio, I hate that place---*CLICK*
