Fandom Radio: Friday, September 23rd.
Goooooood moooorning, Fandom Island! It is I, Graham Cra--*microphone feedback*, your intrepid Friday morning host, here to bring you all the exciting news from yesterday! So sit back, maybe grab a handful of jellybeans or two, and get ready to listen in on all the hot gos and noteable notes! Let's begin, shall we?
And we'll begin, as always, with the School! Where Intro to Paleoantology did their Jurrasic presentations before talking Cretaceous. We brainstormed ideas on how to get out of a scrap that didn't rely on our inherent good looks and charm in Sexy Crimes, and the Art of Peas--wait, is it actually peas? And not peace? I'm confused...Anyway, they talked about love and war and a play called Lettuce-strata, and...ohhhhh, okay, you're just leaning into it now. Got it. Respect. And Belle got roped into some mandatory squirrel-training going on in the Library.
We have no notes for the Dorms, except that there are no notes for the Dorms, but, over in the Town, Duke hid in his office over at Luke's until Octavia bravely showed up to save him from the guy who was humming and they started to make plans for her upcoming birthday, and Liz finished up some reports at the Photo Hut before Prompto interrupted her with some lunch he made and they made plans to make more lunches together. At the Maaaaaagpie Empoooor~rium, Steph was setting up good group games to prep for the incoming visitors this weekend, while Tisarwat argued with the stereo over at Groovy Tunes. Libby did research on vaccines over at the Clinic, and Scott tried to make plans for what to do with his visitor at the Magic Box.
And, finally, over at the Devil's Nest, Annie was distracted from her earworm thanks to a few thirsty patrons! One of those patrons was Detective Watts, who got to hear all about her recent journey to a land called Iowa, which apparently has a lot of corn, and about her recent meeting with Steven. Michael complimented the detective's outfit before introducing himself and finding out that the island's lack of murder makes it dull, and that's the kind of boring I can really get behind! Prompto and Annie caught up a little on what he's been up to while he was gone, while Detective Watts finally got to meet the man he'd been hearing so much about! Michael and Prompto also caught up with how they'd been doing since they last talked and talked a little bit about where Michael is from, with a side of the whole 'turning into animals' thing, which is great, by the way, and Annie was very impressed by cowboy Michael and his cowboy manners!
And that's all for the notes today! I hope everyone has a really great weekend with a lot of really great visitors! And if not? Well, just look on the bright side, it's only a weekend!
See you next time, everyone! Bye!
