Good morning, it is Tahani al-Jamil with all of the news of yesterday and far too many mentions of malort. I didn't even know what malort was until my dear friend Kate Beckinsale put me in touch with John Cusack! And now that I know, I rather wish I didn't.
In classes, Shop made mini-foundries, Engineering learned about the wheel and the axel, Going on Trips went to a rainforest, High School Superheroing talked about secret identities, and then so did Grown Up Superheroing, but with added malort shots to test their super-stamina, and I presume, their decision making prowess.
In town, Shunsui was coloring at T&C and ignoring the fact that one of the Squishie flavours was hoagie--horrifying--and Danny accused Tattoos of putting gravy on his desk, which Tattoos denied. I bet that means he did it. The Devil's Nest was quiet, which means Tiny is plotting something, and the traveling frog band has added a bullfrog named Jeremiah.
*sound of drumroll*
That is a very talented porg. How did he even learn to play drums?
And finally at Caritas, Summer was nursing a hangover. This did not stop people from showing up, of course. Goose ordered the malort because of course he did, Dwight ordered every shot but the malort and I'm judging that, too, and Summer told Stark that she hoped her sangria night was the last one for a while. Jane tried the shot with Old Bay in it, and then told Stark it took an entire bottle of cherries to get the taste of malort out of her mouth yesterday. Travis had to ask what malort was because he doesn't know John Cusack, and Stark tried to save Travis from a potential terrible life choice. Lana wanted to know why Summer wasn't into karaoke today. Probably because everyone was making bad choices and it would probably leak into their song choices, but I cannot be certain.
