Jaskier: No, no, no. We were going to brunch
*chittering*
Yennefer: Brunch, you know, it’s where you drink mimosas instead of rum, and gossip about all the people you know. It’s very important.
*sad porg noises*
Jaskier: …if we get this done quickly, we can still make the bottomless mimosa brunch on the mainland.
Yennefer: I was in that bar last night, we’re never going to–oh, let’s just get on with it.
Jaskier: Good, because I have some complaining to do about a certain business owner with poor musical tastes once this is done. Ahem. We have the main event of the town yesterday, Three Minute Dates over at Caritas. Quite the event. Before those dates, people gathered at the bar to fortify their courage or be roped in. Rey was one such roped in even as Lana stopped by to check on as she had just returned from home. Watts was confused with New Steven about both the glitter and why their names were called at the event. Jaina also spoke with Lana, though they topics were more on the entertainment of the dates and the rudeness of Portalocity. Libby got a bit of a pep talk from Charlie about how well she would do on the dates. Scott had to give Charlie a bit of advice on how to not approach adults and then spoke with Lana about how this was an excellent way to meet people. Irene also had a bit of advice for Charlie, though it seems to be more life related than relationship. And with that, the five rounds of dates began!
Yennefer: After the dates, people were still at the bar. Rey spoke to Stark about her future plans and the aftermath of recent events, and to Jane about getting roped into things and their mutual acquaintance with Anakin. Connor was hit on by John Constantine, and Kurt and Libby talked about how one of his dates was his daughter from an alternate future timeline. I thought that only happened once a year. Gray was told by Raiden not to wait up, as Raiden was hoping to, quote, "bang a hot vampire," end quote–
*pause*
Yennefer: Sorry, needed a moment to compose myself there. As I was saying, Stark asked Margo how her dates had gone, while Belle was checked in on by Five. And finally, not at the bar--how novel--Steven and Watts went back to the former's apartment to drink wine they'd already paid for.
Jaskier: See? Easy!
*cheerful porg noises*
Yennefer: That wasn’t so bad, actually. Now I want to hear all about how you got kicked out of a bowling alley, starting with what a bowling alley is.
