Good morning, everyone, it is once again me, Tahani al-Jamil to tell you allllll about yesterday with this rather large stack of notes from yesterday. What did I miss?
*innocent whistling*
That is extremely forboding, Leroy, but you are a squirrel and I can ignore you, and so I shall. In classes, Haiku had to compose a poem in the time a cup went past them in a stream, British History learned about prison reform which was just what I wanted to hear about on a steamy August day when my brain will not turn on, Yennefer's class talked about how people would cope if they head back to their home dimensions and cannot take any of the creature comforts of this dimension with them, Treaure was doing research, and Paintball had pillow forts and target practice.
In town, Nell was being pensive at the flower shop, Sakaki was in a very good mood at the animal shelter, and Stabby the Crab was wearing a new hat he'd kept from the reunion.
*loooooooooooooong pause*
I'm going to move on.
At the Devil's Nest, Eric and Marc drank and did not talk about their weekends--so did Jon and Billy, but at Jon's flat-- Tattoos played Minesweeper at work before going home to cuddle with Danny, Ulysses sent texts, and Vi and Steph were ignoring each other. Tony and Shoulders were also being clingy, Watts assured Steven of his continued good health, Liz cried all over Marc about a future she might not have--make sure to hydrate and put some cucumbers over your eyes, no one wants to be puffy --and Goose had Jello shots at T&C to process why he and Ignis broke up twenty years in the future.
It's twenty years from now. Who's still together with someone they met twenty years later? Honestly, other than my parents, I don't know of anyone and I'm fairly certain they're together out of spite. The hot firefighters woke up together and searched for a heterosexual reason to be naked in a bed and there ~isn't one~. And speaking of naked, that was also happening with Lucifer, Octavia, and Duke but I am an impressionable teenager and will tell you nothing more about that.
Though I'm sure it was terribly juicy. And that's everything! Enjoy your collective trauma, it's all very interesting to tell people about. Ta!
