Fandom Radio - Saturday February 12th
Jaskier: Oh, there are quite a bit of notes this time around!
Jaye: I'm guessing that's why the squirrels brought me over. Again.
Jaskier: Jaye! Always a pleasant surprise---yes, yes,here's a pile for you…
Jaye: Oh. How kind. I'm going to need payment in rum. I have the date notes tomorrow.
Jaskier: I will be certain to provide you with all the rumb you could ever desire!
Jaye: You all heard this verbal agreement. Let's get to reading.
Jaskier: Over at the school, we had Home Economics discuss food safety, which we gather isn't a concern for food trying to stab you back or anything of that sort. P.E. and Health worked with bicycles for their class. Drama worked on mimecraft and I have many, many concerns. Jo spent her shift at the library looking for romance novels to read. Very wise choice, I'd say.
Jaskier: In town, Billy was busy at Surf's Up early in the morning. Rey was excited to find the changes made to her training routine by Anakin. Stark decided to go home for a bit to recover. Oh. Oh, I hope he'll be well. Heartbreak is, unfortunately, terribly hard to recover from.
Jaye: That's why it's better to just not!
Jaskier: I mean. True. But the heart wants, what the heart wants! There was a dance held by the school for the approaching holiday. The attendees arrived in style. Five and Harry debated the glitter before the punch was summarily spiked. Guillermo and Kurt agreed that the dance was fun if unfamiliar. Alexis and Tahani ended up bickering over glitter before some was somehow tossed at Tanahi. Libby was greeted by Kurt who complimented her dress before asking if she'd like to dance. Vi also complimented her dress before they agreed that they weren't used to parties such as this. It's the glitter, isn't it?
Jaskier: There was the opportunity to memorialize the evening with pictures. Also, food, of course. Where Vi and Five met and there was discussions of family. Harry checked in on her as well before the discussion turned to the homes they left behind for here. Kurt also got checked in on by Harry. There was also the dance floor! Where people were able to get out there for some fun. Where Clare and Guillermo found they had very similar taste in music. There were the usual shadowy corners and of course the chaperones for the event. Where Tony and Steve With The Shoulders flirted and made plans for the weekend.
Jaye: You know, in my day the shadowy corners were called the snark corners.
Jaskier: Oh, I'm certain I know the sort to just loom there. Though it was more grunting and less snarking.
Jaye: …Dirty?
Jaskier: With Geralt? Not the kind you'd think. Smelled of onions.
Jaye: And then there was also a party over at Dite's, because Valentine's Day is all about romance, and also probably vibrators. People showed up and entered a door prize drawing, like Buck, who told Irene about how he hasn't come in here because the squirrels might report on him. I don't know why he'd be worried about that.

Jaskier: I'm sure he means well?
Jaye: He and Will talked about using door prize winnings as home decor, Irene complimented Amaya on evasive maneuvers, while Lucille thanked Irene for help before. Yeah, okay, Buck was right about that. Dwight complimented the decor and he and Hannibal caught up. Irene welcomed Goose and Ignis who Summer went to go find since she knew he wouldn't go to her. Enterprising! And he got to see Goose after a whole bunch of shots. Irene was glad Will came even if he's shy- so many people are going to hate these notes- and oh hey, he and he's not a fan of the squirrels since Dwight heard about him getting hit by a car? Which also got Hannibal and Annie all concerned. I recommend not doing that. Follow me for more health tips.

Jaye: I do have that sometimes. Irene and Margo complimented themselves and wondered if anyone would show up after the dance, Margo and Octavia bonded over axes, Irene and Lucifer talked about dirty pillow fights, wait that phrasing came out wronger than I meant, he and Octavia flirted and talked about shots, while Octavia had opinions at Irene about novelty sex toys, Kitty and Irene talked about how pretty everyone is while in a sex shop so that fits, while Kitty and Clint flirted over shopping in private. I did think there'd be more flirting at this. Maybe they're saving it for tomorrow. Jon and Irene caught up while Margo yelled at him for being at a party. I mean, this is a lot of notes, I'm ready to yell at people for being at a party, too.
Jaskier: I am beginning to think that perhaps Fridays can be a bit cursed, yes.
Jaye: Maybe next time people can plan for Thursdays. Not Saturdays. Definitely not Saturdays.
Jaskier: Sundays even!
Jaye: Parties on school nights only!
Jaye: Wanda was horrified at Din bringing a baby because he didn't know any better, and Irene checked to see how much Grogu understood about his surroundings. It's okay, it's probably a few years before he pieces together this trauma. Irene was glad to see Clint again. Hannibal and Irene talked fashion, and she forgave Eric for deviating from the theme. He also got Ulysses a little flaily so I'm guessing that's why he got a pass.

Jaye: True.
Jaskier: There were, of course, drinks at this party. It was there that Wanda met Octavia and discussed hobbies or lack thereof. Annie and Diego discussed purchases from the store, but perhaps with less of a crowd around them. There was also a very popular table of shots run by Summer. Irene gushed over the work that went into them. Lucille was less enamored with the more, ah, risque drinks, but managed to find one to her liking. Goose was also there to try a few, finding encouragement from Summer to expand his horizons. Dwight also tried out a shot and explained his presence was mostly to support his friends. Annie was suitably shocked by the selection of items. Jon struggled to pick a shot, though Summer was very encouraging for him to try new things.
Jaye: I can't tell if everything sounds dirty because of the party or because of you.
Jaskier: I'm merely reading what I am provided with! Hannibal apparently picked the shot that was the hardest to sell, cheering Summer up some. Lucifer asked for one of each of them in order to provide one for Octavia to steal from him later on. As it is a shop, there was the opportunity to buy the wares therein. But, most importantly, the winners of the Door Prize were announced! Amaya, Octavia, and Will! Well, look at that. We powered on through. Somehow.
Jaye: Yeah, we both deserve rum. Just, so much rum.
Jaskier: You have my unending thanks for assisting lest I be stuck in this studio for the rest of the day.
Jaye: That would not be acceptable. Go home and do nothing. Everyone go home and do nothing.
