Fandom Radio: Friday, January 21st.

Both: 🎵 ~Troy and Astrid in the mooorn~ing~~ 🎵

Troy: ....and we're back! And, boy, yesterday sure was a weird one, but judging by the stack of notes I've got here, y'all were into it. So let's not waste any more time and let's just dive right in, shall we, because we're gonna have to put in a lot of hard work to make some of these notes make any sort of sense.

Astrid: I'd say that maybe they might have finally passed the threshold into too much rum, but, no, I experienced yesterday, too, and....yeah, let's just see what we've got.

Starting, as always, with ~the School~, Photography took advantage of having a bunch of baby chocobos in the classroom to do a litlte wildlife photography, a wee tiny Gladio instigated a snowball fight for Wilderness Survival, and ALL-PUNCH got to deal with impressive costume changes and punching an inflatable gremlin.

Goose brought a lot of shirtlessness, ,weapons, and friends from home over to Ignis's office and the library was staffed by a wee tiny Belle who was very grateful for stools.

Troy: Over in ~the dorms~, my lovely cohost here was in the second floor common room, where she couldnt' decided if she wanted to eat or not, much to Kurt's frustration. She also got to meet Harry's friend Dumbledore for a hot minute...really? Dumbledore? That sounds like a fake name, I'm sorry, but anyway, Guillermo showed up covered in blood so I bet that was fun.

Astrid: It was fine. He looked it up on his computer. Also, Jo was enjoying a book in her room. Really enjoying it, too, apparently.

Troy: Over in ~the Town~, Sidon enjoyed a dip in the onsen, Din had a surprisingly normal day at Wellspring, and I was definitely not afraid of anything at Groovy Tunes, these squirrels must be thinking of someone else. Steph was also setting up new games to spotlight at Magpie Emporium, where Kitty showed up with a dragon and also was a mermaid?

Astrid: Kurt brought Libby some food at the clinic, where he mostly just got scolded for laying on the front desk, and, at the Photo Hut, Prompto and Liz apparently tried many different methods of trying to control Liz's random acts of fire-ness, to varying...but thankfully not destructive...results. Margo enjoyed lounging and a book of debatable quality at Pick Your Poison, where Amaya brought her an axe that she was a little reluctant to fork over when Margo turned into a kid, and Irene stopped by, too, to complain with Margo about all of this, quote, 'whimsical [BEEEEEP]ery'.

Troy: That...is a good way to put it, yeah. And in more whimsical [BEEEEEP]ery news, Kitty was fourteen and at the Perk, where Summer faced every woman's worst nightmare of turning into her mother, before Kitty attacked her with a sword. She's fine, by the way, they kissed and made up and then Summer tried to convince Kitty not to tell her husband about it, ooooooooooh, scaaaaandaaaaal!

Astrid: Kitty accused Steve of being judgey after she appreciated his shirtless entrance, and he definitely needed more coffee to deal with the ensuing changes and motorcycle riding that followed. Wanda was also impressed with Steve's shirtlessness before he got to meet her rapidly aging kid and they talked about blonde Avengers and uniforms and cereal that turned into ice cream.

Troy: I need that cereal!

Astrid: Kitty greeted Wanda with a kiss--

Troy: The best best greeting!

Astrid: --and then they just had some difficulty with maintaining time eras, ages, and Wanda's state of pregnancy...and, at one point, Kitty's clothes, but she did, at least, have a towel. Lucille was more impressed with her book than Kitty getting shot at with arrows or Kitty's bra, and then it was Tony doing the kissing while Kitty tried to phase through the floor, and apologies afterwards were sort of thwarted by inconsistencies in age and gender....and species. Tony was a little confused by Steve being in uniform, but probably not as confused as everyone else when literally all the Avengers eventually showed up.

Troy: Goose just could not stop pulling weapons while trying to have a conversation with Kitty, which Rosa eventually did, too, but, I mean, are we sure that's the weirdness of the day and not just....Rosa being Rosa?

Astrid: The world may never know. Moving on, Stark, probably wisely, decided to stay in last night, and got a visit from Anakin, and I'm sure they eventually did get to watching those movies and ordering food in between inconsitant ages, hair lengths, and talk of levitating glitter.

In bar news, the Devil's Nest was quite the hot spot, even if Gladio wasn't impressed with the beer special; he talked with Annie on how he couldn't seem to stay the same age, a problem that lead to Rey attacking him with staff before a seperate, unrelated lightsaber barfight, and Steve asking to see some ID before he himself turned into a kid, as well.

Rey was a little skeptical about the beer special, so she went with a soda while trying to convince Annie that everything about today was going to be fine, due to Jedi feelings, before...well, we'll just say things got real weird after that with them. Wanda and Annie also talked about how weird this is, and how this island seems to find ways to get people to kiss Summer--

*enthusiastic chittering*

Troy: Ugh! Yes, Leroy, we know! Anyway, there was also something about Wanda being stuck in the '80s, or something? But we're going to move on. Annie almost attacked Ignis, and that went about as well as you'd expect it to, Danny brought some friends to see Annie in her bra before she kissed a shoreline, and she and Dwight were in agreement that it was a good day for drinking.

Astrid: No word on whether Dwight agreed that girls do get it done, though.

Troy: Amaya was very okay with Dwight being shirtless in a bar but not with him having his dog in the bar, and then just left when Annie offered her a drink. Then there was just, like, so much hugging going on with Danny and Steve, and also, quote, 'a lot of ponies and a lot of guest stars'. Which I would find confusing except that all day yesterday, this tall skinny dude and some blonde chick that's definitely not a blonde chick I already know and I'm pretty sure this girl from my old high school that got all hopped up on Adderall kept showing up? So, yeah. Guest stars.

But the guest stars that Annie and Steve got included a cute otter, so I think they win, and wee tiny Annie agrees with me.

Astrid: Caritas was a little quieter with Laszlo's special on Regular Human Rum, which Shunsui passed up on, before briefly getting to meet Laszlo's ghost. Kiem wanted to let Shunsui know that he enjoyed his class last semester, but appearently, Shunsui didn't want to hear about it, so Kiem apparently pulled a gun on him, like you do, which is also what he did with Lazslo and his wife, whose presence there, like many things, such as twirly things and Kiem's shirt, was temporary at best.

And that, finally, concludes this confusing mess of a pile of notes, and already today, I'm feeling much more permanant and less random, and so hopefully you all feel the same way too, and we can go on to hav ea nice, normal (relative to Fandom) Friday.

This has been Astrid, the Normal Human...

Troy: ....aaaand the Disco Spider!

Astrid: Have a great weekend.
