Fandom radio, January 3rd
Good morning, everybody. If you're new to Fandom, I hope you've been informed of radio.
*chittering*!
Yes, and of the squirrels generally speaking. They would like me to let you know they can be bribed with rum if you don't want them to report on something.
Yesterday, Rey was at Stark Industries for a mostly slow day. Most of the news, however, is that we have new people for the new semester.
Vi arrived via swimming, apparently. Good lord. I hope the island at least picked her up before she'd been at that too long. The other new students gathered at the airport, where they waited for the bus and then were driven in by Anakin. Which the squirrels seem to think might not be particularly safe, either.
Then there was a picnic to welcome them all here. Students met their big siblings, including Illyana and Guillermo, Vi and Harry, Jo and Libby, and Astrid and Kurt. New roommates Vi and Libby and Kurt and Guillermo also got acquainted, and one of those seems to be going much better than the other. Good luck, Libby.
The teachers were also there, talking amongst ourselves and to students. Kurt met Summer, which I dearly hope the island was ready for, Dwight and Gladio, who are co-teaching, spoke, Liz got to meet Sidon, as did Kurt, Prompto got to properly meet Alara and spoke with Liz, as did Ignis. Oh, and Jo and I spoke.
People also just hung about for the food and company, where Illyana instructed Vi on the finer points of food theft, Steph met Vi and did not quite discuss clothing theft, Will met Libby, who will be working at the clinic, Alara and Kurt discussed being different in Fandom and other places, Hannibal met Kurt and explained he knew a different version, as did Illyana. Kurt also met Sakaki and Will.
Did I miss anything?
*chittering*
Oh, good. Thank you. So, new students welcome, and now you know the kinds of things you can expect to be reported on here. The rest of you presumably already knew, or you don't listen to radio, in which case you aren't hearing this anyway.
Have a good day and enjoy the first week of classes.
