Fandom radio, Monday December 20th

*sigh*

*grimly* Good morning, everybody. Let's start this off by saying I'm here because it's Monday, not Friday. Sorry, Astrid and Troy, that's why the squirrels are asking me to do this instead of you; it's not personal. Apparently not everybody is aware of this loop we're in, which is something to do with the people in the extra island attached to ours that keeps appearing every morning along with the marshmallow snow.

Yesterday, despite it actually being Sunday, there was a class, because Ignis and Gladio aren't aware of the loop. So, chocobro class wrote essays and spent time with chocobos, which apparently slightly redeems this occurrence for Prompto, who has now taught the same class three times in a row. Possibly four by the time he hears this. And also at the school, Jo was in the library being diligent, since the island thinks it's Friday. Well done, Jo.

Meanwhile, after being forcibly removed from the station by squirrels, yes that is a sentence I just used, Troy and Astrid were in the dorms' third floor common room decorating him like a Christmas tree.

Most of the news, though, was in town. Rosa arrived again and went home to a large pink stuffed dog and a boyfriend who doesn't remember the loop. Dwight opened his shop again.

Amaya at her forge was thankfully fine after being shot to death the day before. She decided it wasn't worth working on anything if it would be gone the next day, then was greeted by Dwight, who doesn't even remember he was shot to death at the same time, because of which she locked him in a closet. *sigh* I'd try to explain why to him, but he won't remember it today anyway, so there's little point. Maybe just stay home today, Dwight. There are people with guns out there.

Eliot and Margo were at home. He remembers this loop and she doesn't, so Margo, don't forget your pizza this morning, and apparently this is a time loop but it's not the subtle kind and it's not due to a "horomancer with family issues" and it's not happening so we can stop a tragic death.

Jesse held a town hall meeting to discuss what's going on, where Eliot wanted to know what's going on and volunteered to help take a look around, since it's not as though anything permanent can happen to any of us, Annie brought weapons but was mostly just glad to see other people knew it was Sunday, Miguel brought science to the table, and Steve McGarrett brought a rickshaw full of guns. *sigh* Welcome to America.

Steve Rogers and Tony woke up, and Tony, who remembers, managed to convince Steve, who doesn't, that they did not in fact have to teach class today, but that he ought to get clothes for Wanda, who was going to change back from snake to human again. Stark was also at home, and just glad his friends who died are alive...again? Still?...and that Faye is there with him, though she doesn't remember the loops. They discussed what's happening and maybe just staying inside or trying to leave the island. I, erm. I'm sorry, I don't think that will work. If you're still considering it today, that is.

Travis was at the fire station again, being nonplussed about the marshmallow snow again. Travis, it's Monday now, and the snow is sticky sugar, so maybe stay inside unless somebody calls in a fire. Steve McGarrett was at the trooper station again, although since he remembers, he at least could get the troopers off early to try to help with the people shooting up everything, who are apparently named Julianna and Colt. Miguel showed up and tried to talk to them (again, though he doesn't remember the other times), but Julianna was only interested in shooting him. And Will was at the clinic hoping for no more serious injuries today, since he remembers the earlier days.

Liz was at the Photo Hut again, despite remembering the loops and being rather traumatised by the previous day, and Prompto showed up to comfort her about...well, about having accidentally killed Travis and been arrested. I, erm. Sorry about that, Liz. I...I'm supposed to report things, but...never mind. Dr. Lecter called her to talk about what happened and offer her breathing exercises and the opportunity to come to his office, which was open because he thought it was Friday, and discuss things. Which she did.

The Perk was of course open, and I really hope these baristas are getting paid for every Friday they work, whether they remember it or not. Rosa Ortecho wondered about the research station sticking off the island, so I'm guessing she doesn't remember the loops, Margo ordered a lot of chocolate just to be different, Steph celebrated her birthday again - oh, well, at least maybe someone is getting some fun out of this, Jaye argued with the baristas about which day it was, and Dwight showed up for a coffee after breaking out of Amaya's closet.

Then last night, a group of people went over to the extra bit of island we've got to see what's going on. They tried sneaking in, but ended up fighting a group of hostile people. They did find Colt, or he found them, and he says that the way to properly reset this thing and get us out of the endless looping is for him, Julianna, and someone named Egor to all die at once. He's happy to shoot himself, but they're somewhat less amenable, I can't imagine why. *sigh* Anakin suggested we concentrate on Egor and he go after Julianna; apparently Egor goes invisible, but Colt can help with that. So I imagine we'll be doing a bit of that today at some point.

Good luck, everybody. Please try not to die, since we never know when this will end up being permanent. And stay away from the warehouse district unless you're bulletproof, which applies to far too many people here, but not you, Dwight. In fact, unless you're planning on helping with the whole...everything...maybe just stay home to be safe? It couldn't hurt. Probably.
