Thankfully, this time I did not miss a single party. But, instead, the holiday strangeness continues! Though the little ice display from the birds really was quite lovely this morning.
*chittering*
Of course I like you all best. You provide alcohol! But now, let us begin with the gossip slash news you have also provided me with. At the school How To Be A Chocobro had a very tense class that settled on a game of 'Chocobo Panic' that involved selecting the correct bird. Teamwork was harrassed by the mistletoe as well, but turned it into a lesson on working together to get it out of the room. Superheroing 101 turned their discussion toward the more support based skills and abilities to help once a fight was over. Jo had a blissfully quiet day at the library with the mistletoe merely lurking about.
Over in the dorms, Astrid hid out in her room to paint Christmas cards and avoid the mistletoe as best she could. Belle was also blissfully unaware of any strangeness happening today as she settled in with a book and some tea. When Five popped in to complain about the tea and be informed that he flitted about.
In town, Lucifer was quite upset about not needing the mistletoe's help at the Devil's Nest. Jessica made her triumphant return to the island after spending time away for a case and caught up with Lucifer on their respective lives. Yasha returned to Covent Garden Flowers from a bit of a vacation just in time to deal with the strangeness of the holiday. Travis over at the Fire Station was quite upset about the non-water liquids in the pipes. And we can all agree with that. Whole heartedly. Over at Blackstone Foundry and Forge, Amaya was aware of the mistletoe, but not within her business, it would seem. Dwight stopped in to present her with something from his cooking class before they were ambushed by the mistletoe and strongly encouraged to kiss the once before released from it's grasp. Irene stopped in with a morning drink and was promptly warned of the dangers, but to no avail! There was once more a kiss therein.
At the Perk, Goose was frozen in place whilst attempting to order when the mistletoe struck. Luckily for him, Miguel arrived to offer to perform the kiss on either of them in order to get his coffee. Jesse set up at her place for a movie night with Summer who promptly gave her wine in preparation for the mistletoe before they selected a horror movie based around the holiday. Rey had her only slightly different from usual training with Anakin stopping in to complain about kissing the barista in order to provide coffee to his wife. I think I've read that romance novel, honestly.
A very paranoid Dwight settled in at his Fix and Clean shop, keeping an eye out for more mistletoe. Miguel stopped in to hear all about Dwight's kiss with Amaya and do a touch of gentle teasing. Jon was pelased to find that the screens were all back to normal and therefore decided to take a night in at his apartment. Eliot stopped in for what I presume is a spot of magic. But then again, my experience with magic has been a terrifying, possessed, naked she-demon who attempted to murder me. Speaking of which, I should see if Yennefer will be teaching again after the holidays.
But that is all! Hopefully everyone will be able to relax today without the looming threat of mistletoe. This has been Jaskier, bringing you the news of yesterday today!
