I, um. Good...good morning, everyone. This is, um. There was a lot going on yesterday, so I'm just going to get it out.
Vanessa, a winged, partly metal woman, was trying unsuccessfully to leave the island, which involved a lot of inhuman screaming, and a large, blue man named Dorian went up to try to talk to her and find out what was going on, while Whiskey watched. Ha. I know that feeling.
At Chilly Boulder, Jo - though not the Jo I know - was reading comic books, and Astrid came over to talk about them.
Meanwhile, Edge was walking around the boardwalk, and Jason came up to him, being odd and pretending to be an old-fashioned reporter, Lucifer asked him about his wrestling, and Goose came up to him for pets. By the way, he's been staying at my place, and I should head back and check on him, so, um, if anybody is missing that lovely boy, I've got your cat, I think.
At The Perk, Whiskey was getting coffee, which sounds like a drink recipe honestly, and I could use one, and Faye dropped by with a small, green child to talk to him. Stark was also there, and Whiskey flirted with him while asking about the island, and then Faye explained to him that Whiskey was really someone named Din, who...oh, apparently that was a thing this weekend? And...oh. OH. ...Why do I never get this knowledge when it's useful??
*deep breath* *sigh* Right.
There was also a small boy named Liam, who spoke with Whiskey, Stark, and Faye, and Dean Skywalker showed up and told Whiskey he was a wizard and this should all clear up by Monday, and I...I'm fairly sure from the squirrels' reactions that at least one of those is a lie, and I'm hoping the other part isn't? And Alara got coffee, too, while hiding from invading Kaylons, apparently.
I...I think I'm just going to give up on making any sense of any of these notes. Even more than usual, I mean.
And then last night at the Devil's Nest, Silver was drinking, Rey declared they were both lucky to be normal, Steve wanted a drink despite not being able to get drunk and then spoke with Tony and Rey, Tony was also drinking, and so was Edge.
And right now I'm wondering if I should bury myself in tea or just go back to bed and try to sleep, possibly for a few more days. *sigh* And I'm really hoping the weirdness this weekend was responsible for...well, for certain things. I may go check out the library just in case.
Please everybody, try to be safe. And let's hope Dean Skywalker was right about this ending soon.
