Fandom radio, Monday September 27th

Good mo... Good lord. Are you all...you're hungover.

*sullen chittering*

*sigh*

I take it it was a busy weekend.

*rustling*

Right. On with the notes, then.

...It's a good thing I know what these say, because I'm afraid there's too much rum on them to read. *sigh*

Right. Yesterday there was a farewell function for this weekend's guests, where the island offered food and souvenirs on their way out of town. Stark and Liam got to meet each other's guests, and Clare's guest Michelle tried to get Tahani's phone. Which doesn't sound as though it was well-received. There was also a booth with water guns and water balloons and some paint that makes me very glad I missed the thing, and Thor (one of them), Steve (Thor's friend, not the Hawaiian one), Sidon, and the Galaxy Rangers...that's quite a name...had a water and paint fight.

Elsewhere, Rey worked at Stark Industries, with BB-8 rolling around and asking questions.

*pained but cheerful chittering*

Apparently, BB-8 is rather adorable. I will withhold judgement on that.

At the Perk, Margo *throat clearing* spoke with her guests and texted Eliot to come and join them, where they spoke about getting a book from a New Jersey library. A book with...no author, to...bring magic back. I, um. I realise I may not be the most, erm. welcome? person to chime in on this, but in my experience a book like that is definitely not good news. I, um. Never mind, that'll be for after the radio.

*more throat clearing*

At the local theatre, Bucky was playing Weird is Relative, in honour of the weekend and Halloween, and well, at least that's less ominous than some things they could be showing.

Not far away, I was...I was doing laundry, and honestly, this is news? Fine. You know what, I am hereby using this forum to state that unless whoever actually owns the place I manage deigns to get in contact with me and state otherwise, I am removing the coin-operated system from the machines, because nobody should be forced to pay extra money simply because it refuses to...to dissolve all their soap adequately, or to dry as many clothes as will wash in one load, and the entire thing is ludicrous. I've said it.

And last night, at the Devil's Nest, Silver was drinking, and Rey stopped by to see how he was doing, and they spoke about his visitor, and on the Cape Rouge, Duke watched the sunset, Lucifer brought wine, and they talked about missing people from home and meeting potential other versions of them.

Right. I've got a few calls to make. I wish everybody a good week.
