It's Sunday. You guys are super bad at telling the day of the week. I know our names rhyme, but mine starts with an F. See? F. You want the girl whose name starts with a J.

I know. I'm already here. We all know I'm gonna read those stupid notes, but I just want to complain. Validate me.

*chittering*

Thank you.

So, most of the news happened at the school, since the new children are here or whatever, but we're going to do things backwards and start in town today. So, first off, just to get this out of the way -- Lucifer was doing some naked cooking and the squirrels made sure to note that he's immune to the hot-splatter-bad-idea of it all, in case anyone was worried. Octavia, who was wearing his robe, was curious why he hadn't bothered even with an apron -- yeah, this sounds like a hygiene thing, honestly, even if you're not worried about burns? -- while Duke was more appreciative of the naked cooking thing, as well as appreciative of Octavia in Lucifer's robe, and I've talked about these people's clothes or lack thereof for way too long. Moving on.

Diego was at the trooper station, where he got visits from Annie who brought him coffee, and Steve who didn't bring him anything but was surprised to see him there. New person Goose landed a spaceship in the junkyard -- hey, neighbor -- and Lucille was hanging with some carnivorous plants at the flower shop, while Allie opened up the Devil's Nest.

Okay. So now we're at the school, where there was a welcome picnic! Kicking things off, we had Clare and Terra meeting, with Clare introducing herself as Terra's big sibling and determining that she was probably not the cannibalistic type. Kiem and Alara also met, with Alara making sure he got to Fandom okay and apparently it's much further here than he'd expected. Jo met her big sibling, Nell, who assured her that this school is for sure co-ed. Thankfully, Jo's going to be rooming with another girl, Belle, so it shouldn't be too hard an adjustment anyway. Terra was not so lucky, as Kiem is very much a boy, but he promised to keep his half of the room clean anyway. There were also teachers to meet at this thing, which is how Jon met his teaching buddy, Summer, and got the low-down -- apparently quite the low-down -- on Fandom, while Goose found his teaching buddy, Sidon, as well. No word on how comprehensive that explanation was. Gladio provided a hiding spot for Nina, who was fleeing Anakin -- smart girl -- and Hannibal also came over to introduce himself to Gladio. Kitty and Stark discovered their classes have been switched -- oh, that's where Superheroing came from! Yeah, that's probably a way better fit for her. Octavia and Shunsui caught up a little now that she's back from her summer adventures. No word on her clothes this time. Anakin was upset with Prompto about the bus, and I don't know this kid but I love whatever this bus thing is, this is great.

As evidenced by how pissed Anakin was with Nina, too. Ah. Beautiful. Seivarden caught up with Tisarwat and suggested a visit to a glove shop on the mainland, thrilling, and Irene and Hannibal talked fashion, and seriously, why is everything about clothes today? Anyway, Stark and I talked about the dangers of large quantities of unattended food, and Irene apparently picked up Margo after she was done talking expensive fabric. Seivarden asked me if I had stolen anything recently, which is just a silly question, honestly, and she and Hannibal shared some tea. Cait came out to give the new kids, including Kiem and Margo, a taste of 'yep, there's a talking cat', and finally, Terra and Nell met and talked plants. Again, thrilling.

And that's that. Learn the alphabet, leave me alone, and have a nice Sunday.
