Fandom Radio - Monday 8/23
So I guess when I complain about being dragged in for lack of news stories I shouldn't complain when there's a stack of sheets sitting here, right?
Whatever. I'm here under protest.
Over on the school grounds, Five was showing Sir Reginald around school grounds were they had a rather prickly conversation about family. Belle also met Sir Reginald and probably learned why Five is apparently the way he is.
Over in the Library, Lana said goodbye to the books and watched holo-something. Whatever that is.
Switching to town, Annie was hanging out at the perk reviewing some paperwork with someone named Madelyn when Zhaan and Stark came by where they all chatted and got to know each other. Danny stopped by to get some coffee and also met Madelyn as did Liam and Amanda.
Over at Stark Industries, Rey got a visit from someone called Mara Jade who apparently is Ben's mom and not some Southern belle as I originally thought looking at the name.
And in the midst of all this "dead people walking around the island" crap, we got a newcomer named Margo who apparently fell into an apartment above 'Pick Your Poison' right before getting knocked in the head by a bed. Sorry Margo. Welcome to the island.
Apparently Margo wasn't the only one popping out of nowhere as Lucifer, Duke and Octavia bamfed back on the Cape Rouge and apparently landed pretty hard. See Margo? Happens to the regulars on this island too.
Sidon and Mipha got together and had a sibling reunion over at the Pizza Planet while Dwight and his daughter got some ice cream over at Chilly Boulder.
Later on in the evening, Sirius explained to Harry that he had to go back to being dead... a phrase I'd never thought I'd read aloud.. and then there were a lot of tearful farewells at some weird stone out in the woods. Tearful goodbyes included Zhaan and Stark, Lizzie and Dwight and Adora and... Shadow Weaver. I don't know why I expected a normal name there.
After the goodbyes? There was Drinking at the Devil's Nest where Silver was there to give a sympathetic ear. Rey was apparently doing fine because her universe has force ghosts.

I'm just going to move on from that without comment.
Stark showed up and was in desperate need of whiskey. Anakin apparently also showed up for whiskey and to whine about an 800 year old green frog who smacked him with a stick.

Moving on! Stark and Anakin commiserated about their long weekend. Edward showed up for booze and learned that he and Silver are from roughly the same time period but not the same place. And then Dwight showed up after saying goodbye to his daughter to also drink whiskey.
Huh. Okay, look, I'm sorry all these dead people showed up but if I get to the bar and there's no whiskey left I'm going to punch every one of you.
That might sound like an idle threat but I assure you I can find out where you live and there will be punching. That's it for the news, I'm going to check the stock at the bar.
