Oh my God, I'd just fallen back to sleep, you irritating rats. This is Tahani al-Jamil and I will not be discussing the horrible, horrible fire alarm this morning but I will complain about it.
In the park, Dean Skywalker held a version of the Olympics that only made sense if you were him. We were divided into four teams and then forced to compete in skateboarding, pairs slalom canoeing, beach volleyball, archery, and alot of jumping. On something called an alot, which I'm sure isn't even real.
In town, Shunsui was letting Apu celebrate National Waterpark Day in T&C--sounds messy--Astrid was avoiding cactus armchairs at the flower shop, and new person Irene--she has fabulous hair--opened her shop, Dite's. And Summer was celebrating the Olympics at Caritas with five themed shots and I'm certain everyone made excellent decisions and didn't do that. Oh, Seivarden was showing Summer her vacation pictures, so Summer might've needed her own shots to get through that. Or at least when Annie sang a truly terrible song to commemorate a work colleague that she hadn't even liked. Rey talked about the horrors of drinking off-brand cola, Jesse said that she was thinking of going on vacation, Stark was very happy to be back in the bar after almost a month in a hole, and Miguel was there to complain that he wasn't good at modern Olympic sports. Dwight finally made it to a Caritas Wednesday and Yang was looking for a birthday special because it was her birthday!
And that's everything. I'm going back to sleep. Again.
