Fandom Radio, Wednesday 7/7
Greetings, Fandom! I, Sam Eagle, have been tasked by these very weird and insistent squirrels with sharing the news of yesterday with you, the residents of this increasingly strange island! I do not know why. I belong in visual mediums, not on the radio!
However, since I have already been brought here to this rum-infused radio station of dubious quality, I shall complete the task as it has been explained to me.
At the school, some of us bothered to show up for classes. Some of us. I, of course, was one of the responsible teachers...
*chittering*
Oh. I see. It seems some members of the faculty and student body have gone missing and I should have been listening to previous broadcasts to be aware of the news on this island. I prefer newspapers for catching up on local news! Moving on.
Ms. Smith instructed her students on how to make an American classic, apple pie, in her absurdly named Oh-Em-Gee I Could Just PIE class. The Art of Battle Games was canceled. I, Sam Eagle, discussed INDEPENDENCE DAY! in my delightful class on Americana!. The class on Scamming Nobles was also canceled. I assume that is for the best! We should be educating students to be upstanding citizens!
In the dorms Tahani broke into Alexis's room which I am quite shocked by. This is why educating these students on how to be fine, upstanding young people is important! Otherwise they turn to a life of crime. At least Alara was acting reasonable and spending time in her own room. There may be hope for some of these young people.
In the town two businesses simply vanished into holes. Both Groovy Tunes and Blackstone Forge and Foundry are nowhere to be found. Very irresponsible of all involved parties to allow this to happen.
Ms. Maximoff was not irresponsible at The Magic Box but was instead vigilant in looking out for weirdness. We should all aspire to such things! Ms. Pryde-Barton was also being responsible and keeping an eye on her daughter at Caritas. I suppose, in this instance, we can overlook that she allowed the child into a bar. Detective Diaz stopped in to discuss these weird holes and Ms. Pryde-Barton's missing husband, as did Ms. Maximoff.
A Mr. McGarrett, who I understand is a military man, was out for a run. I approve! Fitness is important! He was met by Ms. Rey and they discussed this hole issue we seem to be having. He also encountered Ms. January who was also keeping fit and they had a similar discussion about holes and missing persons. Finally, Ms. Valentine was intoxicated at work at Wellspring Arms. Shameful behavior!

Of course I have never been intoxicated at work. How dare you suggest such a thing! I am insulted.
