There's no way we can do this later in the day? You're so inflexible.

Fine.

Over at the school, Pirating worked on swordfighting -- not a euphemism, I am assured -- and then Nick's Angry Class smashed up china, and Malia got an explanation about how Memorial Day is about barbecuing and mattress sales. That's actually good to know. I'll remember that for ne -- actually, never mind. Jedi Class dodged water balloons while blindfolded -- sure -- and Underwater Basket Weaving went diving for treasure. That might be the most legitimately useful skill I've heard of someone learning at this school. Including both of the classes I've taught. And Earth Cuisine visited Singapore. That sounds...nice.

*chittering*

What? Leave me alone. I'm busy reading what happened in the dorms. Astrid was having ice cream for breakfast, and she was joined by Malia, who was unfortunately in the mood for deer and decided to hunt one later.

Whatever. Ice cream for breakfast is a more normal choice, there.

In town, Sakaki was attacked by a cat again at Furnado -- honey, I'm kind of starting to wonder if this is the job for you? Anyway. Rosa was doing research for her class at work, and if you can't tell, I'm winking. Nell did some rearranging at the flower shop and was joined by Travis and his puppy, who is apparently quite the cutie. At Turtle and Canary, Summer was given the low-down on what happened while she was gone, and at Caritas, I guess Seivarden is just determined to make this fancy wine from back home work. Amaya turned up to give her some crap for it, and Seivarden asked after Amaya's lobsters. And then over on the Cape Rouge, Octavia and Lucifer bickered a bit about the book she was reading before talking about food, which seems like a better thing to talk about anyway. And finally, Steve and Danny got back from something dangerous and now they're not allowed to have beer because they have concussions? I've never heard that rule before. Huh. Whoops.

And that's all from me. Hopefully I won't be back next week.
