Welcome back! Welcome back! Isn't it exciting to have gotten through your very first week here? And nary a single angry goat man kidnapping!

What? No, they should be warned, I think.

Alright, alright. It is a rare occurrence. But a word of advice is that seduction works in that instance. But we can cross that bridge when we come to it. Let's begin with the school. Yesterday we had Physical Education had a very confused and upset teacher who thought he was teaching about magic. Oh no, that would be Yennefer's class. Cooking for Camp and Field started out with an explanation on how to start a campfire and then onto his preferred method of cooking without access to a proper kitchen. I, personally, believe that the delivery system here to be a godsend. Blacksmithing Basics began with aplomb and a very indepth explanation of the trade. I should assume any students who leave there would have a much greater understanding of it all.

Cupcake Skirmishes began with introductions, dedicated to keeping things simple and easy. Something I appreciate and hope the students did as well. Practical Philosophy began with discussing how they were feeling about being here and how there would be an inordinate amount of questions. Yes, that does indeed sound like many a philosophy professor from my experience. There was also Paintball where everyone was introduced with balloons full of paint. Oh. Oh, I think I will be staying indoors on Fridays in that case. So You Want To Be A Hero began by removing any special abilities the class might have. Which seems like perhaps it would make things a bit difficult, but that appeared to be the point.

There was nothing in the dorms. Probably as everyone was relaxing after finishing their first week of classes!

In town, Eponine packed up to leave the island. Oh! We are sad to see someone leave! Hopefully she has brighter shores ahead. Bucky stopped in to bid her a farwell. Astrid over at Turtle & Canary had to avoid chickens at the store. Perhaps they were customers? Rey--Hello, Rey!--had her usual training with Anakin as he filled her in on the details of his time in the paintball class. Lucifer had a calm day at the Devil's Nest with Jessica commenting that she might have to pass herself with her class and Duke who mentioned his upcoming birthday and what they ought to do for it.

And that appears to be all! Well, I do hope that everyone has a lovely weekend. I certainly will! This has been Jaskier, bringing you the news of yesterday!
