Fandom Radio | Saturday, April 10th
Good morning, everyone! It's Alluka, with the news from yesterday!
School was pretty lackluster, with Cooking having a movie day, while Gym had a pool full of ice (because apparently the week was kind of terrible? I, I'm really not sure how those two things are connected…), whle Performing got the news that their final would be a talent show!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will there be judges? And, and prizes? I guess we'll find out! There was also Prom, but we'll cover that last!
Dorms were quiet—
*snickering squirrels*
Um, um, well—there's no notes about it?
So we'll just go straight to Town!
At the Forge, Amaya was aggressively making swords, while Astrid was drawing instead of working at Turtle & Canary! The bars were hopping, with Lucifer at Devil's Nest, and Octavia and Duke talked before Lucifer and Duke did the same, about going home, and then Lucifer and Jessica chatted about doing things under their own power versus under someone else's. Finally, Octavia listened to Lucifer play the piano!
Over at Caritas, Kitty was manning the bar! Eleanor came in and tried to order a drink but had trouble with pronouncing the name of it. Meanwhile, Yennefer asked Kitty for help in what drinks were called, since she's not from around here! That was nice of Kitty, wasn't it? Then Yennefer and Jaskier exchanged compliments. Jaskier got the run down of drink options from Kitty, while Nick and Allie got acquainted with each other! It's always nice to make new friends, isn't it?
And, lastly, Allie complained about the island still being weird and Kitty apologized for not warning her!
Finally, we've got Prom! Which was done up in spring colours and also gears and stuff! Sounds about right! Everyone Showed Up and Tahani and Alexis exchanged dress compliments while Lydia and Alexis also did that, though Lydia also thought the Prom theme was weird.
Adora was literally glowing, which her roomie, Miles, noticed!
Shuri and Wayne showed up together, both incredibly happy with how the other looked all dappered-up! Meanwhile, Lydia and Five exchanged awkward compliments with one another. Belle gushed over Astrid's pants, Tahani loved Belle's dress, and then Belle and Five bickered about intent.
Five and Diego also bickered but theirs was 'sibling bickering' and not the same kind as Belle and Five's bickering. A, apparently? Ulysses was waylaid by Illyana, who wanted to know why he hadn't warned her about this.
Over by the Food and Punch, Eleanor was adding things to the punch, which made Alexis super happy, Five was less 'happy' and more 'relieved', and Illyana just wanted to know if the bottle Eleanor had was originally hers.
Over by the Chaperones who, um, well. They weren't very good at their jobs… Stark was glaring at Anakin, who grinned back at him, so it's safe to assume he wasn't sorry about whatever it was that upset Stark. Meanwhile, Faye and Stark were pretty interested in each other, while Prompto was deeply embarrassed at being caught staring at Faye. Annie and Diego were having trouble focusing because it was hot. Summer got compliments from Annie and a bunch of gushing and a hug, since Annie was excited Summer had had a good week, while Barry offered to get Summer a drink or anything else she wanted. Stark thought Summer's dress was really pretty!
Wrapping up this page of notes, Prompto was determined to make this a night that Ignis wouldn't forget.
And finally, for real, Prom Court was announced, with, the Junior Queens being Astrid and Nina, and Junior King being Troy. Senior Queens were Eleanor and Shuri, while Wayne was crowned Senior King!
