Fandom Radio, November 28
It's after Thanksgiving, Fandom! You know what what means. Shopping season. Okay, so, here's the thing? I don't participate in the whole Christmas thing, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking advantage of the sales. After all, it's mostly a marketing holiday anyway, that totally makes it okay.
In other news, shop Pixie Dust.
School, where I know I'm just riding out till the end of the semester
Tactics discussed hypotheticals, which kind of sounds like math to me. Career Choices had a whole thing on being revolutionaries, and after a little bit of coupling off, Cass stopped off to talk to Miss Ghanima. Japanese learned how to do the flirty thing in... well, Japanese, and Feminism talked about the awesomeness of Bea Arth-
....Seriously? Bea Arthur? That old chick?
Anyway. There was a lecture on Bea Arthur and Dawn apologized for missing class. Maybe you only missed a lecture on... one of those other old chicks. Look, it's not like I know their names.
Adah was back in the library today, where she got visits from River and Lee. No mention of babies by the squirrels. Lunch was all quiet, and so was the office. Maybe they're all waiting till break, too.
The dorms, where people are still doing stuff. And... stuff.
So then Prue set up for cheerleading practice, and nothing really happened except Johnny Storm ogling Savannah. I think that usually happens, though, so I don't know why it's newsworthy. But whatev, I read what they give me. Up on the roof, Neil had some emo time and did some apologizing to Andrew, while the hallucinogenic frog chilled out in the lobby.
Valentine and Namine started the morning with snuggles and made their way to the hey now I wonder if the FCC monitors us kind of stuff. Ino healed Annette's bruise, and hey, that's a nifty trick. Johnny and Savannah- I'm not clarifying my Johnnys there, you know who I'm talking about- talked through Christmas plans, as did Dick and Annette, who also discussed her apparently disastrous trip home. Peter Parker, our illustrious newspaper editor who currently has a fish for a hand, stuck himself to the building with said fish and shot fish out of his fish hand to show Jamie.
I.... just... this school. Yeah.
And then... okay, squirrels, this isn't funny. There was a llama in the fourth floor common room. If the whole floor smells weird when I get back, we're going to have to talk. Ron changed the channel on the TV, which made the llama unhappy, and the squirrel is placing money on the llama. Sure, you animal kingdom peeps stick together. See, and then there was llama and frog fun time, thus proving my point.
Town, where things are open, and yeah, I've got nothing
Xander opened the apartments... Is that the right thing to say? Because they're apartments, so I don't think I can say that, but... Okay, he manned the desk. There, now I feel better with my wording. Also, he got visited by Giles. AJ opened Luke's, where he had an awkward visit with Annette, who told him about some guy named Trevor and what happened at home, and Turtle opened Turtle and Canary, where a cake appeared. You know, maybe a llama brought it. I don't know. In unrelated news, Marco got a thwapping for taking the help wanted sign literally. Which he probably should have, yeah.
Professor Kerrigan got coffee down at the Perk while Hoshi, Johnny Storm, George Michael, Beauty, Gabriel and I slaved away at work with no real entertainment. Andrew got a visit from Isabel, who wanted to know what's up with him and Neil, and Dale got his weekly visit from Faith, and he and Renee talked about invasions and no, seriously, Peter Parker totally has a fish for an arm when she wasn't chatting with Faith.
Deadpool fed Aly's cats while she's gone, Professor Wilson and Ronan had their respective clinic shifts, Faith opened Caritas, and Kabuto was all unimpressed with Ino's good news. Well, that's not very supportive. Work on that for next week's radio, will you?
That's it for this week. Happy shopping.
