Well, I have to say I'd I prefer the candy to these... tiny squashes. They just keep falling out of everything. Look at them, they're just everywhere.
Let's just... get this over with so I can try my best to avoid them.
At school, Creative Weaponry built sand castles to fight off sand lizards. Fuck Yeah Science was very upset about the strange events happening. I agree today, but the candy and cats were very nice. Superheroing 101 was cancelled for the week, though the students were given an assignment to tail people. How exciting.
In the dorms, there was the usual breakfast with Wayne. Elli stopped in to eat and discuss their vacation last week. There was also a giant skeleton delivered to the dorms that Arabella was granted ownership of. For better or worse, it seems. Astrid was just as confused as her, though they decided to use it as the impetus to throw a party. Miles was concerned about it coming to life after hearing it was possible from Arabella. Wei Wuxian was also confused, and was in need of an explanation of the holiday approaching. It's costumes and candy and that is all I have ascertained from it .
Over in town, Liam was getting caught up on some reading when he learned the horror of the black licorice when Verity came in through the window to discuss a lindwurm and hunting it with friends. Of course! At the gym, Beau was dealing with... hamster wheels. Huh. That's a new one.
At Town Hall, Jesse actually enjoyed the black licorice as she considered the events happening. Summer had candy on sale at Turtle & Canary, but only if you at the licorice first. That is a pass, I must say. Rosa checked her voicemails upon the return from vacation. At the Trooper Station, the troopers attempted to give Steve With The Tattoos their licorice.
At the Bookbelt, Nina decorated for the holiday before Liam stopped in to check on her and discuss the dance. There's a dance? I didn't know about that. At the Devil's Nest, Annie was eating something called a Charleston Chew that the squirrels think are terrible, but not licorice terrible. When Lucifer returned to tell her about who he is and check in on Eric who said he hadn't missed him at all.
Finally, there was movie night at the apartments! It was a strange movie about murder and good hair. Silver and I discussed costumes and the plot of the movie, while he and Rey also discussed costuminging and--there are a lot of hearts drawn on this note, squirrels. I'm just saying. During that time, Rey and I discussed the room being cursed somehow and learned the horror of licorice for ourselves.
But that appears to be all there is? And luckily for yours truly, I haven't been replaced again this week! Try to enjoy the strange as best you can! This has been Jaskier, have a good day!
