Fandom Radio | Saturday, September 5th
Good morning, everyone! It's Alluka with your news from yesterday! It looks like everyone was quite busy, so let's get going!
Also, also, we're all in a snow globe! That's amazing!
School was rounding off with the new classes for the semester, which were Multidimensional Economics, where they went to Turtle & Canary and had to try and sell weird things to Summer, which sounds like fun! Ethics got all split into teams and had to come up with similarities to each other. Then, lastly, French Language, Literature, and Culture got started with everyone sharing their proficiency at it. Summer also came by to check on Booker as she's his teaching buddy.
Nothing happened in the Dorms but Town was bustling!
Prompto surprised Nina with room service at the hotel and they caught up over their respective summers. Over at Covent Garden Flowers Yasha was hard at work when Jaskier came in to buy some flowers. Liam had the station kitty on his lap at the Trooper Station which meant Danny had to get a picture of it to prove the kitty existed.
Rey was training in her warehouse with new toys, which Anakin wanted to know about and then they caught up. Cait Sith was in the mood to rant at Tino over at Caritas so it's probably good it was a quiet night there. Over at Luke's, Duke was arguing with his staff—it seems to be the day for it—and when Maeve wandered in looking for a job, she got it. Danny came in and they talked about Booker sleeping on a park bench. He's not any longer, so it's okay!
It was a busy night for Lucifer over at Devil's Nest. Octavia was back behind the bar even though it wasn't her night and making drinks, which Duke teased her about.
Eve was having a lot of fun dancing—it is a lot of fun!—and Lucifer wanted to know what she was doing here while Eric found out she was looking for her ex, Lucifer. And, and apparently she's 'that Eve' but… I don't know what that means, I'm sorry.
Seivarden conversation with Lucifer got interrupted when he noticed Eve was there—I don't think these notes are quite in order—and Octavia and Lucifer talked about how strangers have their uses. Duke just wanted to know why the crowd and it was because Lucifer was bored.
He, he… didn't stay bored though because he got shot (he's okay! Shots can't hurt him!) outside of the Devil's Nest and Eve, Duke, Octavia, and Seivarden were there for him! And there was something about a necklace?
Either way, it sounds like it all worked out! Yay!
The final stack of notes here look like they're all about the Fireworks party on the beach last night! People showed up to hang out.
Eleanor brought her own drinks and offered to share with Elli. She didn't offer to share her shrimp though. Elli checked to see if Sabine needed any help but Sabine was all good for the fireworks. Troy hung back a little before he and Miles caught up about their weeks and Elli gave Troy a flower crown. Alexis showed up looking fantastic—the squirrels are fans of your look last night, Alexis!—and Elli complimented her and they talked about planning parties. Julius flirted with Alexis, which she approved of.
Julius shared his fruit tray with Jules and got a steak for Camden, while Astrid also got a flower crown from Elli. Jules wanted a flower crown for Camden, which Elli obliged her with. Wei went swimming and Elli left him some towels and a flower crown for when he was done. Julius joined Wei in the water, while Nell attempted to have a conversation with Wei while he was swimming and she wasn't.
Ulysses was sure glad to see that Julius was still around while Elli tried to help him with his flower crown dilemma. Freya and Elli caught up about classes and Arabella and Elli got acquainted. It's wonderful to make new friends, isn't it? Nell showed up, not really dressed right for the party but ready to have fun.
Over by the food, Elli and Miles got acquainted and talked about how good a cook Wayne was. While Wayne was busy manning the grill, Elli swung by to thank him again and got him a new beer. Julius brought a fruit tray with him, which Elli thanked him for and then had to explain it wasn't her birthday.
And, lastly, the star of the show, the fireworks! Miles and Nell got acquainted during them while everyone else just enjoyed watching them!
