Fandom Radio - Tuesday, September 1st

*chittering*

Yes, yes, I'm coming along, I'm coming along. No need to get pushy. Perhaps you could share some of the rum for my efforts? Oh, what does that light mean?

*chittering*

...right. I'll Google it, don't you mind. What... does... a... light... on... in... radio...Oh! Oh. Greetings, people of Fandom! Greetings and good morning to you all. This is Jaskier here, bringing you the news these fine rodents have seen fit to provide.

Let us start with the school, we have Creative Weaponry introduced themselves and made us of things they found in a wagon caravan to defend themselves with. I think the best method of self defense is to find someone more able at such tasks. Fuck Yeah, Science turned their students into dinosaurs.

...

Was that always an option to do? No, no, don't answer that. I won't be teaching again if I can help it. Superheroing 101 also made their introductions and discussed the sort of hero they aspired to be. Oh, that sounds lovely. At least we have some people to save us from the dinosaur students.

Speaking of which, over in the dorms, a Julius returned to being human after spending time as a lizard. I would say it happens to us all, but it would be a lie.
Wayne made breakfast for anyone who wished to join him. How sweet! You know, if someone were to do that in my apartment building, I wouldn't be upset about it. Miles stopped in to both meet Wayne and then offer to repay him for this kindness. A very kind young man. Troy checked in on how Miles was doing and they compared notes on the oddities here and their roommates. Troy also met Wayne and was more than happy with the breakfast spread.

Adora also stopped in for a meal and learned that Wayne does this sort of thing nearly every week. Troy and her met as well and Miles checked in on her as her roommate. Elli stopped in for a meal and was told by Wayne to keep an eye out for his new little sibling. Miles introduced himself to her and received the sage advice of always checking out the window to see what madness was being inflicted upon us each day.

Jules and her companion also stopped in to catch up and---oh, well, that's rude to say on radio. She had an injury that was a source of concern for Elli though Arabella was more interested in her feline companion. Shuri also stopped in--how many students do we have again?--Anyway, Shuri and Elli caught up on what classes they were taking while Wayne offered her a plate of food.

Wei Wuxian stopped in to learn that it was not in fact a holiday they were celebrating and merely a first day of the school year breakfast from Elli. The holidays here are a bit confusing, I will grant you that. He also received a plate of food from Wayne. Elli also had a warm greeting for Arabella whilst Wayne provided her with food. Sabine commented on how much busier than normal this breakfast seemed to be. And looking at my small stack of notes, I suppose I can see that. She caught up with Wayne before her and Elli decided upon needing fireworks to celebrate--oh, a party! You should most certainly throw a party.

In town, the gym served to flummox Beau with school supplies? Yes, I could see how that might be a source of confusion. Do many students attend this gym perhaps? At Diaz & Ass, a name that bears further exploration, Rosa was busy writing up her classes for the semester. How industrious of her!

Oh, this one rhymes. How quaint of you squirrels. So, in the park, Stark enjoyed his coffee and pastries. At the trooper station one of the handsome Steves inflicted more martial training upon his co-workers before enjoying a lunch that the squirrels have drawn a rather good cartoon of them puking.

At the apartments, Rey--Hello, Rey!--Rey set up a movie for myself and Silver. A stirring tale of piracy and greatly offending our poor companion with the inaccuracies. Silver and I came to the mutual conclusion that we should assist him in finding confidence. Rey and he debated the historical accuracy and then discussed a restaurant that Silver owns? I wasn't aware of that! I provided Rey with sage wisdom in how to handle a hangover whilst we watched the movie as well.

Summer prepared a sale at Turtle & Canary for all the new students and teachers should they be in need of supplies. Eleanor stopped by for that very thing before informing Summer of her introduction of her roommate to the alcohol available here. For the love of all that is holy and pure in the world, do not try the Mezcal. I can still feel the phantom horror on my tongue just saying it's name.

Oh, and it appears that I have finished with the notes here. So, that was all the news from yesterday that the squirrels found fit for reporting on! This has been Jaskier, hoping you have a lovely day! But please remember the Mezcal thing. Eleanor. I'm helping you here.
